Forever (Wangxian oneshots)

Welcome

Welcome to the very first chapter of this book of mine everyone. It has been a long while since I've written anything at all but i really hope i can make this enjoyable for you all

I can't promise regular updates cuz all of it really depends on the amount of time i have in hand and also on my ideas but i will try to update this every once in a while. I will probably be able to figure out a routine after my classes for this year start (they will likely start in may). But until then, expect updates very randomly 💀💀

Wei Wuxian tucked his hair behind his ear as the wind that passed through the Cloud Recesses blew his hair. Leaves were dancing around with the wind, a calm atmosphere around the place. Well, as calm as it can be with Wei Wuxian in it.

The aforementioned grinned from ear to ear. It had been a while since he had last been in Cloud Recesses due to his previous mission taking long enough to keep him away for a week.

He missed the place despite it being quite boring. He missed his juniors, he missed the cool atmosphere of the Cloud Recesses (as much as he hated how quiet it was), he missed the bunnies that his beloved husband had raised while he was a soul wandering about for 13 years. Ah, and he missed his husband, the great and mighty Hanguangjun, the most out of everything.

Wei Wuxian was now sitting in Jingshi, waiting for his husband to return after finding out that he had been assigned to teach a class and was currently doing so. Wei Wuxian lay down on the floor, completely sprawled across the floor, bored and listless.

"Quite the welcome I'm recieving after being away for a whole week." He pouted.

"Welcome back, Wei Ying." He was startled by the sudden voice but he broke into a smile when he saw Lan Wangji walking inside with a fond expression on his face.

"Lan Zhan!" Wei Wuxian got up immediately and ran to hug him. Lan Wangji wrapped his arms around him, pulling him into a loving embrace.

Wei Wuxian took in the familiar scent of sandalwood of Lan Wangji, snuggling into the embrace.

"I missed you." Wei Wuxian mumbled. "Mn. Me too." Lan Wangji replied.

They pulled away from the embrace only for Lan Wangji to pull Wei Wuxian into a kiss, leaving no space between the two of them.

When they finally pulled away, both of them were breathing heavily. Despite seeing Lan Wangji's flushed face and lips on an almost daily basis, Wei Wuxian couldn't help but tease him. "Er-gege, who would think you'd pull the first move behind these closed doors? No one would believe it if I ever told them that the great and mighty Hanguangjun acts like this."

Lan Wangji's ears go red, his face the same as always, expressionless but Wei Wuxian had gotten used to it and his flushed ear already gave him the reaction he wanted. He grinned and pulled him into another hug.

"Er-gege, do you know how hard it was for me to stay away? I almost abandoned the mission to come back! Many times!" Wei Wuxian whined. Lan Wangji smiled. "Mn. I know."

"I love you, Er-gege."

"I love you too, Wei Ying."
