"Is Seoul really the best city to go chase your dreams at?" A middle aged woman asked as she hugged a black haired boy tightly. "Mom, I'm twenty one. I'll be fine by myself." Jihoon said with a chuckle as he tried to leave his mother's embrace. "But Seoul is a big city and you're such a tiny human. What if you get lost?" Mrs. Lee asked in worried as she stared at her son with worry eyes.

"I'll always know my way back home. I gotta go, I'll call you as soon as I'm in Seoul." Jihoon said as he gathered his bags and made his way onto the train waiting for him to board. He sat in his seat and looked out the window, he saw his mother and cousin waving with sad, but happy smiles. He waved back and only stopped once he couldn't see the two people he loved the most. With a sigh he faced forward and plugged his headphones in and played some soft tunes.

This is it, this is where Jihoon starts chasing his dreams. He has always been a big dreamer, always wishing for his dreams to come true. But he didn't want to do all the extra shit they show in movies about chasing your dreams. He wants it as simple as possible.

Yes, he'll face challenges. But he wants those challenges to be simple everyday life challenges. Not those challenges they show in movies where the main characters has to fight a demon dragon or fall into a magical realm to chase their dreams.

He just wants it simple.

He sighed as he looked up towards the mini tv in the corner of the train. 'Next stop: heart of Seoul.' Jihoon sighed again as he looked down towards his hands. "That's my stop.....Alright, you can do this. You came so far already, just you arriving shouldn't scare you." Jihoon told himself as he did some breathing exercises to calm him down a bit. The train soon pulled to a stop and this was Jihoon's time to shine. He gathered his stuff and made his way off the train.

"Woah...." To say that Jihoon was amazed would be an understatement. He was more than just amazed, he was awestruck. From the big buildings to the many people on the streets, the city seems so alive and it's not past twelve pm yet. In fact, it's 11:09 in the morning, but it seems like it's 11:30 at night with how so many people are up and about on the streets.

Jihoon can vary the people from business people going to work all the way to little children clinging onto their parents as they follow them wherever their parents needed to go. Despite the air being filled with pollution, it seems to be calming to Jihoon like it's a nice spring breeze.

Jihoon took a deep breath in with a pleased smile as he walked up to the building in front of him. "Hi, I'm here to get the key for apartment number ten." Jihoon said to the front desk lady who gave him a nod and went to go find the key. She soon then returned and handed the key over.

"Thank you." Jihoon said with a bow as he walked over to the elevator and took it up to the second floor. After waiting for a few minutes, he arrived on the second floor and made his way over to his apartment.

At first glance of the inside of the apartment it may look dull, but as time goes by Jihoon will make it feel like home. He took his suitcase to his room before making his way to the kitchen. "Looks like I'll be buying take out for dinner." He said as he looked at the empty fridge.

With a sigh he closed the fridge and walked over to the couch. "Alright, first challenge to overcome, finding a job for now." Jihoon said to himself as he took out his phone and looked up jobs near him that are hiring.

After fifteen minutes of searching, he found a cute cafe he can work at. So he saved the directions for later and went onto looking for some food he could order for the low price of twenty dollars. He found a nice BBQ place and order from there before tossing his phone to the side and lean back into the couch.

"I can do this, simple."

First chapter and yes it's a short chapter. I decided to make these chapters short and also make the book short.

So that means a lot of time skips and fast development for Soonhoon's relationship. I hope you guys don't mind tho.

But anyways, that's all for now. So with that

I hope you enjoy this chapter

I hope you are doing well, eating correctly and drinking water and staying healthy.
