We find ourselves submerged in a mysterious and ethereal realm, a place that defies our understanding. A pool stretches out before us, its depths shrouded in mystery and coldness that sends shivers down our spines. As we descend deeper, the tiles lining the pool's floor begin to crack and reveal the hidden marble walls beneath. Strangely, a fleshy material starts to encroach upon the cracked tiles, adding an eerie atmosphere to the scene.
Moving further into this enigmatic place, we come across a captivating sight—a tiled wall adorned with tendrils of flesh that intertwine with the ceramic surface. Clusters of glowing orbs catch our attention, and our focus settles on one particular cluster that stands out from the rest. While the other orbs resemble fish or colossal creatures, one of them is a humanoid shape, piquing our curiosity. Eager to learn, we draw closer, captivated by the it presents.
The strange being within the orb appears pale, its form emanating an otherworldly essence. Its figure holds a resemblance to that of a human, but with mutations that make it both fascinating and mysterious. The tips of its fingers end in hardened spikes, resembling sharp nails or claws. A flowing mane of all-white hair, feminine features suggest its a female, lending an air of ethereal mystery. And there, a petite tail, no longer than a finger, delicately sways, hinting at a amphibious origin. The creature's face bears gills, although they seem underdeveloped.
With a sudden jolt, the creature's eyes shoot open, revealing a pair of glowing blue pupils that glimmered in the dim light. It wriggled and writhed inside the translucent orb, as if trying to break free from some invisible force that held it captive. Suddenly, the thin membrane that encapsulated it ruptured, sending the creature hurtling towards the murky depths below.
As it plunged downwards, the creature struggled to breathe, gasping for air with its underdeveloped gills. Predetermined panic began to set in, and it began to thrash around in the water, frantically trying to swim upwards towards the surface. Its instincts took over, propelling it upwards with increasing speed.
But as it neared the surface, everything began to blur and fade away. The once bright blue eyes of the creature dimmed and became hazy, as if covered by a veil of mist. Darkness crept into its peripheral vision, clouding its senses and sending it spiraling towards oblivion.
With a final gasp, the creature's body went limp, and it blacked out. It drifted aimlessly in the depths of the strange pool, its consciousness slipping away. The only sound was the gentle lapping of water against its still form.
The scene shifts to someone in a hazmat suit, their figure hidden within the vibrant yellow colors. They carry a gun-like device in their hands, connected to an orange backpack through a hose. As they traverse a tiled hallway, the tiles themselves small and adorned with various colors, an ethereal light seeps through slim openings in the walls. These slender slits offer just enough illumination to navigate the area, yet are narrow enough to make one wonder if someone could slip through.
The hallway itself presents an unusual configuration, split down the middle like a set of even stairs. Descending into the middle of the corridor, warm water glistens and ripples, resembling a tranquil ocean. Surprisingly, the water is not chilling, but rather comfortably warm, as if inviting one to linger. The ambient air matches this pleasant temperature, basking in an almost sunny embrace. Within the confines of the hazmat suit, however, the individual can feel the mounting heat, their body growing increasingly uncomfortable. Despite the sweltering conditions, an odd calm pervades their surroundings.
