FORTY-NINE

PREVIOUSLY ON „THE DUO"

Yoongi and Jimin stayed for a while, played with the kids and talked to the couple till both children fell asleep. It was a nice evening, Jimin smiled happily as they said their goodbyes.

„Hope it wasn't that bad." Yoongi says as they're now walking to their car.

„No it was really nice." Jimin responds hugging Yoongi's arm tighter because it was pretty cold outside.

„I'm glad you liked it- them." the elder says smiling and Jimin nods.

„And I said they will love you." Yoongi adds looking lovingly at his partner.

Jimin just blushes slightly leaning his head against Yoongi's shoulder as they continue walking.

„Thanks for making me so happy." The younger says and Yoongi smiles. They stop in front of their car and the elder turns Jimin to himself to face him.

„There's nothing better and more important than seeing you happy, Jimin."

The younger just smiles at him softly before leaning in to kiss his lover.

All he needs is Yoongi to be happy.

THE NEXT DAY seemed frustrating. Jimin tried to stay as focused as possible but his mind didn't want to do what he wants.

He wants to trigger his last vision. He has to see it again.

It's scary but it's necessary. Maybe it will help him to prevent the worst from happening.

They are again at Jiho's place in his office, where they've spent the last few days. Today is the last one and Jimin is getting more impatient and frustrated. Yoongi noticed that it wasn't easy for Jimin, that he's putting too much pressure on himself and that he's desperate to get it as soon as possible.

„Don't stress yourself so much about it, Jiminie." Yoongi says patting Jimin's back.

„He's right. Take your time. It won't work if you put too much pressure on yourself." Jiho adds while flashing a comforting smile at Jimin.

Jimin presses his lips together, he's so close to lose his patience. He just wants to complete the process and connect his powers to Yoongi, he just wants to see the fucking vision so that he can prevent it from happening.

He doesn't want Yoongi to get hurt. He doesn't want to lose him. He wouldn't survive losing Yoongi.

„This sucks!" Jimin says slightly louder than he intended to. Both Jiho and Yoongi frown at him.

„It doesn't work. It never works! It's so fucking important but it won't work!" Jimin adds angrily getting up from the sofa with a frustrated groan leaving his lips.
