DEADLOCK [XH]

"Hey"
Someone yelled at me. I was lying on the sidewalk because he bumped into me.
"Watch where you're going"
I said and stood up
"Hey?! What about sometnig like 'sorry'?!"
I shouted. He doesn't bothered to look at me and just walked away
"Ah... These people"
I said to myself and went home
"Where were you?"
My father showed up
"I-I was outside"
I answered him, and went into my room
"Not so fast young man"
He grabbed my shoulder
"What"
I was scared, not gonna lie
"Who's goin' to do the dishes? Clean the house? Especially your room. And what about the dog? Are you going to leave him pee the floor or you're going to walk him?"
He started yelling at me. I had tears in my eyes but i didn't show them. He would say I'm weak.
"Sorry, I'm going to do that right now. Sorry"
I immediately grabbed our dog and went out with him. I went far away from home.
"I can't do this anymore"
I said quietly and sat down on the grass.
"Hey. Again you?"
I heard from the behind. I turned to see that person that bumped into me and didn't even care.
"What do you want"
I said. I tried to be calm.
"I..... I just wanted to say sorry. I realized I left you like that on the sidewalk. I am sorry, I was in a hurry"
I nodded.
"I got it. Thanks"
It made me a little bit happy, that he said sorry. Most people would never do that
"Oh, You don't have to say thank you"
He smiled and sat next to me.
"You need anything?"
I turned to him with question marks in my eyes
"I want to know you. You seem to be a nice guy"
I nodded
"I am Jiseok. I am twenty one"
"I am Jooyeon. And I am also twenty one"
I smiled. He gave me his smile back
"Are you on a college or do you work?"
He asked me
"I am on collage. But I have to work part time jobs and stay overtime to gain some money. You? "
I sighed and looked at him
"I am going to be on a college because of scollarship. My mom didn't have money for school but scollarship was my savior"
He laughed. I nodded
"I am sorry, but I have to go now. Do you mind switching phone numbers? "
I asked and stood up
"I don't mind. But do you mind I'll go with you? It's almost dark, and i am scared"
He laughed and we went through the city to my house
"Do you want to stay over? It's late"
"No, it's okay. Maybe later. My mom's waiting"
He waved at me, and before I could wave him back, he disappeared. I unlocked the door and went to do the dishes like my father said. When I was washing one plate, a hand appeared on my shoulder. I screamed, and the plate I was washing was alreadt broken on the floor
"Why are you home so late"
I heard that cold deep voice of my father.
"I was walking the dog"
"I don't belive you. But first things first, you need to pick up the broken plate"
I felt that he was already away, so I started to cleaning. After i cleaned everything I finally went to my beloved bed
"Wake up! You'll be late"
My father stormed in my room. I got up and went to school. The teacher showed up with someone. I was in back of the class, so I didn't see who was it
"Be quiet class. We have a new student."
She said and looked at that guy
"Hello.... I'm Kwak Jiseok"
"Go sit.... Wherever you want"
That was the guy I met yesterday. I recognized him by his name. When he saw me, he went right to the seat next to me
"Hi Jooyeon"
He said and sat next to me
"Hi"
After class we talked like we know each other for many years
"Yeah, and did you-"
"Hey"
Jackson walked to our table and disturbed our conversation
"What do you want Jackson"
I rolled my eyes and turned to him
"Hmm... You are the new one, right? I am Jackson, the class president. Tonight, I'm doing a party. Can you come?"
Jiseok turned to me. I just nodded
"Then, yes. We will"
"Okey. Jooyeon should have my adress, so come. Tonight, at 7pm"
"Okey"
It started ringing, so Jackson got back to his seat and class started.
"Jooyeon-ah"
He yelled and ran to me. He jumped on my back
"What"
"We will go together. You go to my place now, I'll prepare and then we'll go to your place and you prepare. How does that sound?"
"I don't have problem with it. But give me a minute, I'll call my father"
He nodded and I called him
"Yes. Me, and my friend will go to study at his place, so I wont be home tonight. We will do a sleepover"
"Okey, as long as you don't care, I'll be out"
I hid my phone to my pocket and we went to Jiseoks place
"I'll go shower. You can go see my room. The only white door upstairs"
He disappeared in some doors. I went to his room, where he had so many photos of him and some lady.
"I am here"
Already? Guess I stare too long on that photos
"Who is this?"
I asked and point at that lady
"Oh. It's my mom. So many beautiful memories"
He ssmile
"Okey. Are you ready? Or do you need some more time"
"Oh, I'll just put on some clothes and we can go"
I nodded and he went to the closet
"What do you think? This, or I can change the blue ahirt to red one"
"You know what? Black pants and red shirt. Doesn't that sound bad?"
He nodded and went to change
"Now?"
That took my breath away.
"Wow. You look better than before"
"Then....I am ready We can go to your place"
I nodded and we went to my place
"Who's that"
My father showed up
"That's the friend I told you about.... He's here with me, I will take some things and we'll go"
"Do whatever you want"
He went to his room and continued working
"Sorry for my father. This is my room. Make yourself comfortable, I'll go shower"
He nodded and I went shower.
"Shit. Jiseok? Emmm..... Can you grab something from my closet? I forgot to"
I asked him. He went to the closet and grabbed something.
"I'll leave it in front of the door"
He said. I opened door and grabbed it. I dressed up and went to him
"Thanks"
"Okey.i looked through your closet and chose something"
He pointed at my bed, where was some clothes. I dressed up, what he gave me and we went out.
"Okey. Where?"
He asked, because he didn't know the adress
"Go with me"
I grabbed his hand and led him to Jacksons house
"Here"
we stopped in front of a big hous
"You're here!"
Shouted Jackson so we can hear him through the music, as we knocked
"Come"
He said and went inside. We followed him inside
"Make yourself comforable. Drinks are there, leave whenever you want, if you want to sleep here, rooms are upstairs. You can go outside as well"
