The Reunion

Luciana's phone danced across the dresser as the music played. She groaned picking it up she had fallen asleep through her tears, her pillow was wet, her eyes were puffy and sticky and she looked a completed mess. "Hello."

"Hey babe."

"Michele."

"What's wrong Lu? You sound as if you've been crying."

"I'm fine Michele. What do I owe the pleasure?"

"Can't I call my girl?"

Her anxiety rose. Her belly done summersaults.

"Any way, I was wondering if you would like to come over? My father is out and I thought we could spend sometime together."

She swallowed he'd never asked her for alone time before she wasn't ready for it. "Sure."

"Sweet an hour. Later Lu."

"Yeah bye." She said, disconnecting the call pulling her body off the bed.

"So is she coming?"

"She is."

"Good, everything is set."

"You sure he'll follow her."

"Once an assassin always an assassin." Is all he said.

"I'm off out."

"Where are you going."

"To meet Michele."

"Okay, do you want me to get some of the men to follow you?"

"I'll be fine dad. It's not like he's going to kill me." She joked.

"I guess he won't enjoy yourself."

'Thanks dad I'll see you later.'

He nodded and she left the house, she'd slipped a couple of her fathers guns into the holders hidden on her belt.

Daniele got every one together, he knew there was something off. He knew the layout of the house and it's surroundings, so they were all well prepared. The cars followed her making sure she didn't see them as she made her way to the house.

She knocked on the door. It opened Michele smiled, placing his lips on hers kissing her passionately. He moved away. "Come in."

She smiled, stepping in the door closing behind them. Daniele parked up behind the other cars away from the house, so no one was aware of their presence. The men separated none of them taking any chances.

"Come with me I want to show you something."

"Okay." She gulped, nervously.

"Do you trust me?"

She looked at him.

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes."

"Then stop being so nervous."

She nodded and he led her away. Daniele and some of the men entered the house whilst Marco and the others surrounded the outside.

He was getting this fucker if it was the last thing he done. He should've took him down sixteen years ago, but Marco stopped him when they made that stupid alliance. He was never to be trusted Marco knew that, but he had called the truce and Nicolo had turned it all around to get to his son and heir.

She followed Michele down the staircase to the basement she was freaking out was he going to kill her and dispose of her body. That wasn't going to happen she'd come prepared.
