Best Friends With Simple Plan

Chapter 8

Sky's point of view

Pierre took me from David's arms, I screamed at him. Then Chuck took me and placed me in the backseat. David sat next to me and I leaned on him. Seb drove he had this smile, like he was hiding something, but I said nothing. When we got there David and Seb said,

"Close your eyes." I did. David carried me to the house and put me down. I felt his breath on my ear.

"You can open them now." I opened my eyes, Linkin Park, Neon Trees, The Fray, and The All-American Rejects were there. I stood there, shocked. Once I snapped out of it, I hugged David really tight, then I hugged Pierre, Chuck, Jeff, and Seb.

David's point of view

We had a party, with Joe from Linkin Park as the DJ, we played karaoke. Pierre was drunk, so was Chester. Sky, Isaac, Tyler, Tyson, and I were sitting on the couch laughing at Pheonix's joke.

"Hey, babe." Chester slurred and picked up Sky. I was about to punch his face, when Phoenix said,

"He's this way when he is drunk, if he gets worse, I'll deal with him." I nodded. Chaz did get worse, he tried to make out with her. That was the last straw, Phi and I walked to him. I said,

"Chester Bennington, leave my girlfriend alone!" he just laughed. Phi slapped him on the back of the head. I pulled Sky away and walked to the couch.

"You guys want to go to my room so drunkie over here doesn't take Sky again?" they agreed. We walked to my room. Tyson started singing Move Along, soon we all joined in, very off-key.

"Who wants to drive Chester home?" Isaac asked, Tyson volunteered. Sky yawned and leaned on me and Tyler. Tyler and I were her favorite out of the ones in this room. Soon Tyson took Chester home. Isaac and everyone else left, until it was Simple Plan, Neon Trees, and Sky. Tyler and I talked for a while when Sky was sleeping. She turned a little and mumbled something I thought was,
"I was down, I was drowning, but it came on just in time." I smiled. Tyler asked,

"How exactly am I going to get up?" I shrugged and he sighed. Sky finally woke up, it was 1 a.m.

"Sorry, Ty, I didn't mean to fall asleep that long." she said. He hugged Sky and smiled,

"Don't worry about it. Plus, you only slept 2 hours. So, no big deal." Tyler, Elaine, Brandon, and Chris slipped out of the door around 3.

"I am worn out." Chuck said, "I'm going to bed."

"Same." Jeff and Seb agreed. Pierre must've crashed, because he wasn't there. Sky and I left to my room once more. I layed down and Sky joined me a little later.

"What took you so long?" I asked. I looked at her and saw she was in a pair of shorts and a tank top. She let me wrap my arms around her.

"This is going to be a long week." she said before she kissed me. I tilted my head, deepening the kiss. She ran her fingers through my hair and I ran my hands over her back, then she shivered. I pulled away,

"Babe, are you cold?" she smiled and shook her head,

"No, I liked what you were doing." I smiled back and continued to what we were doing previously.
