After the long day of Samantha showing her around and explaining all the technical bits of the show Evie felt a lot more confident, all be it physically drained. She walked back to the hotel, stopping to get some water from the fountain situated in the lobby, turning around she saw the four people from earlier walking into the lobby. Evie took that as her que to leave and began her ascent up the stairs, quickly taking residency in her room. She changed into her pyjamas, hung her clothes up in the closet and climbed into bed, opening her computer up and looking over her emails.
Noticing a few messages from WWE she opened the oldest one, it read Welcome to the WWE Evie Smith, we are delighted to hear all the ideas and inputs that you have for the team. Just a little bit of information, staff meetings are every Monday night, after Raw they go over all the plotlines and twists in the show as well as technical problems and how to solve them. If you have any enquiries about this or any questions about the introduction process please feel free to email us back. Sent from the WWE Staff Support Team, she opened the second letter dated two days ago. Hello Evie Smith, this is just the technical team here going through passcodes and system locks to make your introduction as smooth as possible. The main doors leading into the backstage building are on a passcode and Facial Identity lock, the Code is 1953. Also each announcement member has their own microphone, so feel free to personalise these. The microphones are locked away when not in use and need to be collected from the Technical Support Room, your microphone is in Locker 19 and the code is set to 2852, Welcome to the team Evie.
She saved the email to her favourites as she knew she would need it and opened the latest email from WWE sent just this morning, reading it aloud. Morning Evie, its Kelly here. Unfortunately I was not able to be there during your first training day as I have to sort some problems out of state, so I leave you in the capable hands of Samantha. She is a ring announcer and is one of the best at her job, and will meet you by my office. She will update me at the end of the day how it went, but if you have any concerns please don't hesitate to email me. Sincerely, Kelly.
She fell asleep soon after, waking up the next day to the annoying tune of her alarm. Deciding pretty early on she would just grab breakfast at work, after being pretty impressed with their selection for lunch during her tour with Samantha the day before. She dressed herself in a white fitted top and a short black skater style skirt, they looked like a dress when pared together, she also coupled them with a pair of nude heels to try and get used to the feeling since the wardrobe team told her she would be wearing them often.
She arrived at the WWE in around ten minutes, it taking her significantly longer due to the odd choice of shoes. She walked herself over to the kitchen, looking around before entering to make sure it wasn't busy. With only a few people sat down she walked over to the buffet table, taking a few minutes to look at the vast range of food options neatly laid out on the table. She was so in her own world she didnt notice anyone walk up to the table.
'You again' a woman muttered next to her, looking to the voice Evie realised it was the woman from yesterday who kicked them out of the arena, 'Sorry' she muttered moving over to the side and looking at the woman, seeing she had black mid calf shorts on and a black hoodie with a picture of some cloaked people on the back instead of the intense outfit she was wearing yesterday, she looked at the woman's face noticing the lack of eyeshadow but still black lipstick and thick eyeliner lining her eyes, Evie thought she was too busy buttering the slice of toast she had just picked up to notice her, however the woman still looked at her unamused 'You done staring at me' she remarked, looking at Evie's face before turning around and walking off. Evie embarrassed she had been here a day and already made a fool of herself.
She took her food to go, deciding on a croissant, slice of toast and a little carton of fresh orange juice, walking around backstage she watched people running from place to place before she spotted Samantha, who had found her first and was seemingly walking up to her. 'Got any plans today' she questioned, 'Actually i was going to ask Kelly if i could disappear for an hour, I have a final vocal coaching lesson, i just feel like i need to thank him and say goodbye before we move' she explained, putting the pieces together in her head as to why everyone was in such a rush. 'Yes that's no problem, why don't you meet him here, he can watch you perform on the grandest stage of all' she wiggled her eyebrows. 'Id love to but i don't want to intrude though' Evie countered, 'Trust me your fine no one will even realise' she chuckled, 'Okay only if your sure' Evie confirmed, pulling her phone out and texting Johnson
Evie - Hey do you want to meet at WWE, you can see the stage and stuff and help me improve to a big crowd and i can get mic's and stuff, she sent him a message
Johnson - Yess that would be great, i can see what my little superstar will be doing, he messaged back immediately
Evie - Okay ill meet you at the doors, she messaged him
Johnson - Okay see you later hun.
