Her entire day would be great because of the amazing morning she's just had. Shinsou said they could be friends. What could get any better than that?

"What's wrong with your face, Whiskers?" Haidou scoffed, resting his face on his palm.

Y/n sat down in her seat, not even realizing that he spoke to her. She crossed her arms on her desk and dreamily sighed as she placed her head on her arms. Shinsou's softer expression was all she could see.

If all they could be was friends, Y/n would gladly be the best friend he's ever had. She wouldn't waste the opportunity he's given her to show him how much she cares. As long as he could be happy.

If he asked her to be Yuuei for the rest of her life, she would do it.

He made her chest light and her body warm. Talking to him was like riding a rollercoaster that she couldn't stop going back to. The adrenaline rush was the only thing to look forward to in her day.

When he looked at Yuuei, she would pray that he could meet Y/n with such kind eyes. If only he could smile at her too. Then she would know that, at least, one person cares about her. It would change her entire life to have someone like Shinsou by her side. Someone to love Y/n and welcome Yuuei.

Haidou's feet hit Y/n's desk. "Are you stupid?" he asked, glaring at her. "I've been talking to you this whole time, and you're ignoring me. Did you already forget yesterday?"

She stood up from her seat. Looking down at him with a blank expression, Y/n let out a small breath of air. "Leave me alone," she said.

"You still mad? But why act all tough now?" he sneered, standing up as well. He placed his hands on his hips. "Want me to do it again?"

"Fine," she growled. "Have it your way."

In a blast of smoke, Y/n had disappeared. Pouncing from the haze, a cat flew towards Haidou's face. She howled at him as she landed on his face, holding on with her claws.

"GET HER OFF!" he screamed, pushing her stomach away from his nose. "SHE'S FUCKING CRAZY!!"

The cat didn't let go.
