It was dark. About midnight in Romers Town. It was a cold, rainy Decembers night, and without a jacket, Averi stood freezing out in the cold. She had gotten lost at the fair, and then stuck in a thorn bush for 3 hours, so of course the fair had ended by the time she untangled herself. Fortunately, the fair was just in the park, so she could just go over the fence. As she walked away from the fence, she thought she saw a shadow move. "H-Hello?" She timidly asked, her breath making clouds in front of her. The shadow silently came up behind her. "Is anyone h-" The shadow put his hand over her mouth and grabbed her.
