Chapter 2: "She's back?!"

~Clemont~

Serena opened her Pokedex and pointed it to Luxio "Luxio, the Spark Pokemon and the evolved form of Shinx. Strong electricity courses through the tips of its sharp claws. A light scratch can knock an opponent down." Luxio used Swift directly on us "Pikachu, thunderbolt!" Ash defended.

"Wait! We're not your enemies. You're looking for the bad guys, they went that way!". When Luxio passed us, I looked at Luxio eyes and realize something.

"Hey, wait!" I called. Luxio stopped and looked back but he started chasing Team Rocket again. "LUXIO!" I yelled.

Back at the Control room...

I'm just wondering... Is that really him? I don't know but those eyes, I recognize those golden eyes. But why he didn't responded me?

"HEY, CLEMONT!" Bonnie snapped me out. "Uh... You're right!" I said not knowing what are they talking about.

"Looks like we need a plan to stop Team Rocket." Miss Clarisse said. "Let's keep strict guard! I'll ask Officer Jenny to help as well."

At the dorm...

I'm just staring at the window trying to think about Shinx and about what happened earlier

"Brother, what's up with you? Is there any problem?" Bonnie asked me worriedly. "Uh... Well, I was just thinking about Shinx." I answered as I rub the back of my head.

"Shinx, you mean the Pokemon who helped you to finish your Graduation Research?" Serena asked while brushing Fenniken's tail. "Do you think it could be somewhere in this town?" Ash asked too.

"I'm sure of it." I answered. "Huh?"

"I didn't finished the story I told you. It happened on the day before my Graduation. I wanted to thank Shinx for giving me the idea for my Graduation Research, and I was heading to where we had promised to meet..."

*Flashback*

"This is decorated with lots of berries, this cake produces just the right amount of sweetness. I'm sure Shinx will really like it!" I said to myself as I walk in our meeting place.

Then, I'll tell Shinx that I want him to be my partner and travel together back at Lumiose city.

I saw Mayor's limo and stopped. "There you are, Clemont!" Mayor said excitedly. "Hello, Mr. Mayor." I greeted.

"We've been looking all over for you." he said. "Why?" I asked.

"We've decided to hold a ceremonial meal to help you celebrate your Graduation. Times are wasting!" He pushed me in his limo.

"But I'm goi-"

"Come on!" as Mayor get in of his limo, we drove away. Oh no! Shinx!

*End of flashback*

"After the ceremonial meal ended, I hurried back at the square but he is nowhere to be found and that's how it ended." I explained. "I see..." Ash said sadly.

"Hey, when a Shinx evolve it becomes Luxio, right? Could it be that Luxio is your-"

"SHINX EVOLVED?! YOUR FRIEND SHINX BEFORE EVOLVED?!" Bonnie exclaimed but she interrupted Serena.

"Maybe, but remember earlier? That Luxio didn't responded you, Clemont." Serena said.

"No, your hypothesis is correct Serena." I said. "Why?" Serena asked confused.
