Chapter 2 - Nani needs a nanny

          Nani dug through her clothes, tossing a few shirts and such into a suitcase. Lilo was sitting in the corner of the room talking to nani while playing with Scrump, her ugly little doll. "Lilo, I need you to put your clothes together if you're coming with me," Nani stated, abruptly turning, hands on her hips. "David said if I didn't want to go, he would watch me!! And I have stitch to protect me!" She lifted her large alien companion. "St-stitch," The weird alien thing belted out, pointing a finger at himself.

"Lilo, last time i left you at home by yourself, you burned the place down. How can I trust that wont happen again? Plus, this is a really good job opportunity for me!" Nani was offered a full week of paid time in New York, if she complied with a few terms and attended some meetings. She'd been working on her own restaurant, and someone was interested in making it into a food chain. A knock at the door grabbed her attention. She made a mean face at Lilo, who stuck her tongue out in response. Opening the door, Nani smiled and fixed her hair. "David! Hi. I'm trying to get Lilo to pack her bags, sorry for the mess."

"Oh, no worries. I told you, I can stay and watch Lilo while you're away," David smiled sheepishly. "David! David, tell Nani I dont have to go to New York with her!" Lilo came running, grabbing Davids calf and trying to shake him. "S-stitch," The blue guy gobbled again like a deranged hunchman.

"Yeah, stitch.. ahahh...," David gave the alien two awkward pats on the head. "So, can I stay here with Lilo? It would be easier on you, since she wouldn't have to follow you to every meeting. Plus, stitch.."

"sti-stiTCHHH," The thing shouted. David made a disgusted lime-lips face at it.

"Fine. Lilo, you HAVE to be good. If i get one call from David, so help me-"

"I'll be fine! Just leave, lady," Lilo grumbled, pushing Nani out the door, and struggling to toss her suitcase outside as well. Nani leaned to kiss David on the lips, and he subconsciously dodged, leaving him with jut a kiss on the cheek instead.

 And just like that, David and Lilo were alone. with... stitch... who was drawing on the walls with his snot. A precious creature, he is. David sighed. "Okay, me and stitch want to go to the beach, and get ice cream. Lets go." Lilo was out the door before David could protest.
