Hazel's POV

My father ended up catching Alexander and I as we ran back onto the deck. We had circled the ship, hoping to lose him but unfortunately we didn't manage to.

"Hazel Wong, explain yourself. What was that display that you put on with...Mr Arcady?" My father growled.

Daisy, Amina and George were watching with baited breath as I shrugged and responded "I was saying goodbye to my boyfriend like you told me to."

"BOYFRIEND," shouted my father.

"Yes, boyfriend, that's what a boy is called when his is in a relationship with someone." I smiled.

Alexander squeezed my hand, I looked up at him and from the look on his eyes, I could tell that he was trying to hide his amusement.

"You are too young to be messing around with a boy, you should be focusing on your school work." My father glared.

"I'm not just messing around father. I'm in love with Alex, and I have been for a very long time." I looked up at Alexander and smiled.

He looked down at me fondly then gently kissed my lips.

George proceeded to wolf whistle causing my father to glare at him.

"Mr Wong, I don't think you understand how much Alex loves Hazel. I mean he travelled across half the globe to spend Christmas with her." George explained.

"Hazel has loved Alexander for a very long time. It was painful watching her pine after him. Other than me, he is probably her favourite person in the world." Daisy grinned at me.

I blushed but grinned back.

"Father do you not see the way Hazel and Alexander look at each other?" Mei asked.

My father looked confused so Mei continued "I can't believe you can't see it. They look at each other as if they are looking at the most extraordinary thing in the world."

I was shocked. Mei had noticed something my father hadn't.

"You love him?" My father whispered.

I nodded.

"How do you feel about my daughter Mr Arcady?" My father asked, his voice harsh.

"I love her sir. I'm in love with her. Haz has brought me so much joy, she's the most important person in the world to me "

My father stared at Alexander before nodding. "Very well."

"Longarms let me just warn you if you ever hurt Hazel, I shall show you that those 8 murders Hazel and I have solved have taught me many tips about getting away with murder." Daisy growled.

My father looked at Daisy with...an approving look on his face.

Alexander wrapped his arm around my waist then kissed my lips.
