I have been friends with Sam and Rebel for as long as I can remember. We have known each other since elementary school. Now I am starting my senior year with them by my side and it feels so good to have friends like them.
Sam's full name is Samantha Trey and her parents are the best. They always make me brownies whenever I visit. Sam is a person who likes to keep to herself most of the time and she is pretty shy around new people. Sam and I met when we were picked as partners in first grade for something. She has been loyal to me as much as I have been to her ever since.
Rebel is the complete opposite of Sam. Rebel's name is Reagan Nelson, but everyone started calling her Rebel after some things happened in eighth grade... Rebel is the type of person to not take anything from anyone. Sam and I have been bullied before and Rebel was always there for us. She would tell the people off for us and always be our shoulder to lean on. Rebel is pretty scary if you don't know her. Rebel and I met in kindergarten, so I've know her longer than I've known Sam.
I live with my brother, Alex. Alex graduated from college last year, so we are 5 years apart. He is also always there for me. Rebel and him are basically the same when it comes to me. They both try to protect me no matter what.

I put on a pink floral skirt with a white tank top under my blue jean jacket. I wore high heeled boots that closely resembled combat boots and then made my way down the stairs. I heard the beep of a horn when we got downstairs and looked out of the window to see Miles in the driver's seat of his truck and Rebel in the passenger seat. Miles is Rebel's boyfriend. They are perfect for each other: they both are rebels, they both don't take anything from anyone, and they both can be pretty scary.
"I made you some toast," I looked over my shoulder and saw Alex give me a plate of toast with grape jelly, "I knew that she would come early."
"Thanks Alli," I said using the nickname that I gave him as a baby.
"Don't call me that, it's so girly."
I took the toast and made my way outside with my backpack on my shoulder. I yelled a goodbye and then got into the backseat of Miles's truck. To be honest, I'm surprised that Miles doesn't have a motorcycle, but Rebel does. No one said anything for the first few minutes of the ride then I said something to break the awkward silence.
"Are you guys excited for the first day of senior year," I said a little too enthusiastically. There were more moments of silence before Rebel spoke up.
"It'll be fun, I guess."
"Where's Sam?" I asked.
"She didn't want a ride today."
After Rebel said that the silence was back until we pulled up to the school. Rebel and Miles both got out and started walking to the school, when Rebel noticed that I still haven't gotten out of the car.
"You coming?"
I open the door and get out leaning against the truck. "Yeah, I'll meet you in a minute." After that I saw them walk hand and hand to the school.

I went to the office to retrieve my schedule and then found my locker. Along with retrieving my schedule, I also got my textbooks.
I went and put my books in my locker and someone came to the locker on the right of mine and began to unlock it. The girl was pretty. She had blonde hair, but her roots were brown. Her nails were painted black. When she closed her locker, she immediately looked at me with a smile.
"Hi! I'm Lillie! It's nice to meet you. We're locker neighbors which is so cool. I'm sorry if I'm making you feel uncomfortable, but this is my first year here and I'm trying to make some new friends. What's your name?"
