Callie and Calvin laughing and chatting as Edward holds a glass of alcoholic drink he stood at their front, he appears drunk.
"Ladies and Gentlemen" Edward said "I want to introduce to you my girlfriend Callie Hedgecoth" Kaylee and her friends claps and cheers as the others joined Tara and the other girls clapped along, Calvin move with annoyance as Callie moves to him
"Edward stop it! What are you doing?" Callie asked confused, she perceived alcohol scent from him there she realized he is drunk. "You smell horrible, oh shit you're drunk", Edward held her trying to kiss her "let me go, stop". Out of rage Calvin punched Edward on his face then pushes him to the ground as scandal arouse in the party Kaylee walks to Callie
"It's your fault, you're denying your boyfriend in the public, what kind of girlfriend are you?" Kaylee said
"Edward is not my boyfriend" Callie said frustrated "Don't you see he's drunk" she turns to see Calvin punching Edward she pulls him off from Edward who is laying weak with his bleeding nose and bruised face "Enough!" She turns to Calvin "he's drunk, he don't know what he is saying".
"This guy almost disrespected you" Calvin said trying to explain.
"You don't have to explain, but beating up a drunk guy." Callie said feeling irritated "No way, I know he's saying this now cause he is drunk"
"Wow, you're on his side, you agreed on what he said" Calvin snared staring at Callie.
"No, I don't" Callie said "but I hope you understand" looking remorseful.
"To hell with that" Calvin said angrily then turns to Edward who is already up "You're done Edward!" he leaves angrily.
"That's what you get for being stupid, bitch!" Kaylee said then leaves with her friends as they are excited. Everyone leaves the party
"Where are you all going?" Tara said "Come on, it's not the closing time. Let's party"
"It's best we leave" Mia said as they set to leave
"Anyway the party was hot." Tara said
"Thanks, just go." Callie said sadly as they left, she feels neglected.
The next day in school Callie walks into the school she's on a long sleeve thumb hole cuffs t shirts and black skinny trouser with sneakers. She puts her book in her locker she turns to see Calvin he stares at then leaves without a chat, she feels her world crushing so she heads to the Rising Eagles and they approved her.
"Callie you're now Charlotte's backup singer" Tara said all were clapping Callie puts a faint smile
"Thanks to you all Rising Eagles" Callie said with smiles, they all dismiss as she was about to leave Justina enters.
"I heard what happened yesterday at the party" Justina said watches Callie wear her crossbag.
"I've had enough just one night and I won't like to feel anything" Callie said "I'm just recovering from everything so please I hope you don't wanna start an argument". Justina inhales she feels her pain.
"I'm here to apologize" Justina said with smiles "are you ready to accept my apology?"
Callie's face brightened up with a smile as she embraced Justina "Oh Chummy" she said with smiles.
"This is Chummy Chummy forever" Justina said as they withdraw from each other with both hand held together as they leave.
It's now break hour, all the students are at the cafeteria, Callie's phone rings as she excused her self from Justina then picks the call it's her Dad.
"Hello Dad" Callie said as she held her phone "so how was the trip? Oh you're back, wow, great to hear, sooner I'll be back home bye" she ends the call then turns to see Calvin at her front, she's speechless.
"I know what I said was bad I'm sorry" Calvin said smiling, Callie smiling back at him
"So that's all? Callie asked looking at Calvin, she huffed then turns to leave as Calvin took her hands in his.
"I want to make up for everything" Calvin said staring into her eyes "I'm sorry"
"Apology accepted" Callie said with smiles staring into Calvin's eyes, Justina enters
"I see, is this the guy?" Justina chipped in.
"Yeah he is." Callie replied
"Calvin Donovan" Justina said with smiles
"I want to invite you Callie for a party" Calvin said with smiles " You can bring your friend along."
"Okay invitation accepted" Justina interrupted, she turns to Callie "I hope it's not a 'No' "
"Come on, since I'm bringing my best friend I accept" Callie said with smiles.
"Okay settled I'm expecting you both" Calvin said he leaves.
"So is he your boyfriend?" Justina asked
"No, but he's not a bad chap really" Callie said "maybe I got to read the missing shoe of Cinderella cause I'm having a feeling my shoe is about to miss" they both laughed
"Funny anyway" Justina said, they leave the cafeteria together forgetting their food.
