chapter 1

-Sunday, 23rd April of 2023-

It was a Sunday Morning. The sun was shining through the window. Rose woke up and jawed. She slowly rolled out of bed and walked into the
Kitchen.

She grabbed a cup out of the cupboard and poured some coffee in it. Then, she walked over to the TV and turned it on.

The news were currently on.
The reporter was interviewing a scientist. 
"We have found a strange virus that turns people that get infected into some zombie-like creatures"
"and what exactly happens to these people?
"They become fully brain dead"
"And is this virus a danger to us?"
"Unfortunately we don't know that yet. We also don't know how many people are Infected at this moment, but if you see someone who is infected please run and make sure they don't bite you. The only way to kill them is by shooting through their head."
"That's all from us now, stay safe!"

Rose turned off the TV. She took her phone and called her best friend Olive.

*ring* *ring* *ring*

"Hello?"
"Hey Olive, it's me, Rose.
Did you see the news?"
"Yeah, I did.."
"What do we do now? Just wait till the zombies come and get us?"
"Idk, maybe we should pack our stuff and get as far away from any human civilisation as we possibly can"
"Alr, do you want to come over to my place later then?"
"Sure! Bye."
"Bye"
*call ends*

Rose went back into her room and started looking for some things that would help her and Olive survive in the wilderness.

She decided to take a knive, food, water cigarettes a lighter and some clothes with her. After she put everything into her backpack she went into her basement to look for her tent. After she found it, she went back upstairs and squeezed It Into her backpack aswell.

She changed into more practical clothes, put on some shoes and a warm jacket and waited for Olive to arrive at her house.

Olive got to her house at 9pm. The sun was already setting. Together Rose and Olive started walking. At midnight they had already reached the forest. They decided to set up their tent and went to sleep.
