Chance had just returned to Texas after his first deployment... he wasn't sure if he was ready to move on from his last relationship, even though it had ended 2 years ago... anyways he had a best friend named Elizabeth, he had always had a crush on her ever since their 6th grade year of middle school, the thing is he never knew that she also liked him too...
Chance had finally had arrived to the airport to meet up with his family, they all had signs up for him and they were all pretty excited to have him home!
"Hey, Chancey! I'm so happy you're back home, we were all pretty worried about you while you were on deployment, but at least you wrote to us when you could to just let us know you were alive."
"Yes Mom, I'm glad to be home too. I've missed y'all also. But, why wouldn't I have wrote to y'all? Y'all are literally all I have... anyways... how's the little brother doing?" Chance replied back to his mom
"Ahh, you're brother is good! He's nearly done with college. He wants to become a game warden, he said he just wants to help people."
