"Come on Dustin! Show us the blaster!" Marie yells out to her little brother, and she smiled widely when he held up the blaster for his Ghostbuster costume.

It was currently Halloween day and Marie was excited to know to her little brother was really getting into it. Dustin and the other three boys were going to go as the Ghostbusters for Halloween, and she was thrilled to see them do so.

"Okay, I gotta go Steve's here." She says when she hears a car horn outside. Waving goodbye to her brother and mom, and ran out to the car. Nancy was sat in the front seat next to Steve, which left Marie to sit in the backseat.

"Hey, how's Dustin's costume?" Steve asks Marie the moment she gets in the car.

"Good, he looks absolutely adorable." She gushes about her little brother, and Steve shakes his head as they pull away from the Henderson house.

"Mike complained the entire time mom was taking his picture." Nancy says to Marie, Marie chuckles.

"Sounds like Mike, I bet Will was having the time of his life. Joyce, Bob, and Jonathan all taking pictures of him." Marie says, and she smiles.

Joyce had started dating Bob earlier this year, and Marie actually really liked him. He was good to Will and Jonathan, and Joyce seemed to really like him.

"Imagine what Erica said to Lucas." Nancy says to Marie, and this causes Marie to laugh.

"I bet she called Lucas out for being a nerd." Marie says, and Nancy nods her head.

"I'm so grateful that we're their older sisters, I couldn't imagine being younger than them." Marie says to her friend, and Nancy turns her head to look at Marie.

"Okay, but speaking of Halloween, are you and Eddie really going as Nancy and Glen from A Nightmare on Elm Street, tonight?" Nancy asks, and Marie nods her head.

"I'm going to style his hair so that it's not all in his face, but we are one hundred percent going as them." Marie tells her, Steve listened in, trying his hardest not to chime in about the costumes.

"I hope his hair works with you tonight, because you are coming to that party." Nancy tells Marie, and Marie nods her head.

"Hell yeah I am. I haven't partied in forever because of the internship." She tells Nancy, and the Wheeler girl is astonished to know how happy Marie is.

The last year had been hard on Marie, it was clear in her eyes. Nancy felt really bad about the whole ordeal, but she also felt the weight of the last year.

Pulling into the parking lot they all noticed the Baby Blue Camaro sitting in its spot. Marie hadn't seen the new kid, so she wondered if he had found some girl and they just stayed in the janitors closet.

Steve parks the car and they all get out, Marie stops short when they see the new kid approaching them.

"Billy? What do you want?" Steve says, and Nancy and Marie share a look. Marie was confused as to why the new kid was approaching, and that's when he completely ignores Steve and look at Marie.

"I wanted to know this ones name?" He asks her, and Marie just stares at him.

"You think I'd give you my name? What makes you think that?" She asks him, and he stands a little taller. Marie did as well, and Nancy and Steve watch intently at the two of them.

"Because every girl here has, all but you. Which makes me need it more." He says, and Marie laughs at him.

"Yeah, no. Guess my name and then we'll talk." Marie then walks away from the three and towards the school, but it cut short when Eddie runs up next to her.
