Chapter twenty-eight: Carnival day

Seraphina's POV

What the actual fuck? I watch how Jazel dance like a crazy, kaldag siya ng kaldag. Para siyang tanga

"Anong klaseng kaldag yan, ang baba"

"Calmdag yata tawag diyan kuya"

Thomzel and Chrizel commented, agad siyang nilapitan ni Hazel at binatukan kaya natigil siya sa kaka-kaldag.

It's the start of the carnival week, there we're a parade this morning but I don't have a plan on attending. The dorms are closed for a few days so we have no choice but to go home here at the mansion.

The events will start later at night, so I'm gonna attend later. I don't really have a plan to be present at the carnival but the journalism club have a duty for the carnival. We're partnering with the photography club so we can publish some pictures and articles about the carnival.

The schedule for today, there will be a prepared performance from the clubs of Kalopsia Lunette. And for the big event there are also a pageant contest and some firework display.

Then tomorrow night there will be battles for singing, dancing and bands. In the morning you can visit the booths and stalls that the students set up.

My siblings are already on a chaos for preparing for that stupid carnival. Hazel is the honorary guest for the event later, Menzel will be joining the singing contest and Thomzel will be competing at the battle of the bands tomorrow, while Grazel will join the pageant tonight.

Jazel will be competing at the dance troops kaya wala siyang tigil sa kakakaldag dito sa harapan namin, and Chrizel, like me, she doesn't want to attend the carnival, she also prefer staying here at the mansion.

Its weird that they're not in a chaos because of a mission, but because of a carnival. This might be a good chance for us to relax for atleast a few days, but we cannot let our guards down.

I can't help but to be annoyed by their noises, they're yelling at each other even though they're in a same room. Muntik pa silang mag-away away, si Jazel naman kaldag lang ng kaldag sa gilid. Seriously?

If only the people who admires the Balme-roun's sibling saw this scene, tsk.

I stood up from the sofa and tried to find my pet cat.

"Where's Lilypop?"

I asked them, I haven't saw Lilypop since I've arrived, inuwi ko siya rito sa bahay since hindi ko siya maalagaan mabuti sa dorm.

"He's with Dad"

Hazel casually said, what? I thought he hates animal, especially cats. I can't imagine him petting Lilypop, I swear if he do anything to my cat.

"Sinama niya si Lilypop sa business trip niya sa Rome"

"Favoritism si Dad, yung pusa sinasama niya tayo hindi"

"Tsk"

I just ignored their nonsense comments. The 'tsk' was Menzel and not me, tsk.

My attention suddenly turned to Parker when I saw him walking down the stairs, he's wearing a hoodie with a leather jacket on it and a ripped black maong pants. Why is he dressed like that?

"Are we going somewhere? I'm not informed"
