Chapter 4: Street Performance

Yus' PoV

Dusk: "Guess that's one problem solved..." Just last night me and Dusk had been working on specific things for our instruments, with some help from Spooky we managed to make the instruments make more unique sounds usually edited in music programs

Me, Dusk, Aoi and Spooky were enjoying our small lunch hour discussing what would come next, or rather, speaking about the plans for the day

Yus: "I think i got a hang of the piano...good thing that can be used for many individual sounds"

End: "Courtesy of mine" Spoke my blade into everyone's heads

Aoi: "Diablo took care of the lyrics last night too, so this noon you two and Oka will get to perform and see how it goes huh"

Spooky: "As for me, don't worry about it, i'll be more than ready for the concert" Dusk and i nodded in unison, trusting her word

Aoi: "Has anyone seen Oka though?" Asked Aoi worried for the pink haired girl's parade, looking at both sides in hopes to see her

Dusk: "Oka-chan began practicing an hour ago, i'm surprised no teacher has said anything to her" He pointed below the roof, where Oka was singing a different song from the one Ren proposed for a small crowd of students

Ashira: "Easy, no teacher bothers saying anything to Idols and To-Be Idols" Ashira's voice made us turn to notice her presence, she had somehow sneaked up on us and sat right by my side while we weren't looking

Yus: "How so?"

Ashira: "They know the great weight this takes, so they let us be to reach our dreams so long as we do not cause a major ruckus, that's how this school works" She had even brought some lunch from the cafeteria, yet not making noise with any bite

Spooky: "So that's it...should make it easier for her"

Ashira: "That just leaves the rest of you right? Why don't give up and join my band instead? No one's gonna say anything for wanting to join the winning side" Ashira leaned her head on my shoulder, almost as if speaking to me in general

Yus: "I think we're fine..." I pushed her head away to get some distance, returning to eat a cookie i had in my other hand

Ashira: "Your loss. Anyways, mind if i stay here and eat with you?"

Dusk: "I'll be damned if you have no friends, miss popular idol" Dusk didn't waste a second to speak his mind, not even bothering to look up from his lunchbox as he kept on eating

Ashira: "The emo kid has spoken..." Said the idol Pillar crossing her arms with a smirk

Dusk: "Rather be that and have friends than be you and have no one to depend on"

Yoshika: "Oh my oh my..." Some of the others were listening in on our conversations apparently, as Yoshika's voice left to tell

Shiori: "He hit the spot, Ashira is a solo worker, got to the top on her own and she plans to keep that going"

Yus: I see...

Ashira: "That's how it is then? I'll let you know i have some friends!" With a noticeably offended tone, Ashira stood up still with her arms crossed

Dusk: "Friends for their personal benefit nor the bots in your social media count, by the way" His words managed to hit a soft spot in Ashira, making her take a step away

Ashira: "You're awfully smug for an emo..." Dusk simply shrugged her comment off

Spooky: "Okay you guys, that's enough" Tried to separate them the white haired sister with a more serious voice
