Both Inaya and Aditya reached udaipur in the afternoon. His grandparents came to the airport to receive them. Inaya got down from the airplane while Aditya was still inside talking to the piolet, discussing something.

"Dadi, dadaji" she ran towards both of them with a huge smile on her face. She didn't know they would be here. Bending down she touched their feet and hugged them tightly.

Although she was very close to dadi, his grandfather intimidated her. He was a tall man with thick beard and a moustache. His hair had turned white over the years.

Aditya once told her about him, he was the one who inspired him to pursue law. He himself was a barrister during his time. His grandfather was a strict man with great family and cultural values.

"God bless you beta" he smile at her while keeping a hand over her head blessing her. Just then Aditya got down and saw Inaya with their grandparents.

"Aditya my boy" dadaji opened his arms to welcome his favourite grandson. Aditya has always been the closest to his grandfather. His brother was a charmer and because he was the younger one he was given a lot more liberty.

Not that he minded it. Aayan as a baby was too cute to scold anyway.

They all sat in the car as aditya took the driving seat with his grandfather in the passanger seat. Throughout the ride he could hear inaya and dadi talk while laughing in between.

"So how's work?" Dadaji asked him, this is how most of their conversations start.

"It's good, the company is earning profit from the last deal with the French delegates.

"Good" nodding he looked straight. His grandson was the exact same copy of him, a calm person who is man of few but impactful words. Since Aditya was a small boy he always admired his grandfather. He used to imitate him when he was just a baby.

Five year old Aditya was quietly observing his grandfather as he talked to his father about something. He saw how he spoke directly making an eye contact with whosoever was infront of him.

It was night time when all of them were having their dinner. His mother was seven months pregnant with his baby brother.

Randomly a thought crossed his mind. What if he tried to talk like dadaji? Will they get intimidated by him? We'll he could atleast try.

"Pass me the bowl" he said trying to imitate his grandfather's voice when everybody broke into laughter. His baby voice was too cute when he tried to speak like a fifty year old man.

His lips curved into a light smile remembering the vivid memory.

The gates to the palace opened as first the car with the piolet moved inside followed by their car. They got down as Inaya stood beside him. He looked at her as she gave him a smile.

"Let's go." Holding her hand he moved inside following his grandparents.

"Mom, dad" his mother tightly hugged both of them kissing their forehead.

"Akhir meri bahu ko tu ghar le he aaya"

(You finally brought my daughter home)

He smiled as they settled in the drawing room to have tea. The workers brought tea with some snacks and served them.

It was already evening, his mother stood up. "You both should rest now" she said motioning them to go to their room

"Mom you show inaya our room I have something to discuss with dad" saying so he gave a short nod at Inaya before following behind his father to his study.
