Walking is so freeing. I hate being cramped up in a car. It makes your body feel like jello and hurt. I walk down the path in the woods behind a house just listening to nature and humming a tune stuck in my head. I was driving for a quite a few hours but now I can lose them by walking. I am a run away. I have four cards just incase. I also have 300 dollars in my pocket. And I have about three more miles until the highway comes. Then I can hitch a ride or find a group. I keep walking, now almost running to the clearing where I can see the light. I slow to check my pocket to make sure nothing has fallen out. I have the cards, cash, and my iPod with the ear buds and a charger. I only have the clothes on me and the stuff in my pocket. What makes me unique is that I will be 18 in a month so in the foster house I was staying in I would have been kicked out anyway. As soon as I get to where ever I land first I need to change my look a little and find a job. Then I'll try to get to know others to not get killed in the new city or town. New life for me and I can hardly wait.
