{ Kris' POV }

The three of us continued on, returning the sanity of Darkners and.. trying to avoid that weird speaker dude. We found a letter puzzle and got a prize, before riding our way up to the top of a platform.

  "Do you guys hear that..?" I asked. "What? Do you mean the robotic crying noises or the dead silence of this whole place?" Susie asked. "Suz, be serious. But yeah, that," I replied. "Let's just try not to die... I just wanna get those two dumbasses out of here and go home," Jupes added.

The speaker-headed robot was exasperated, crying and sobbing as two other robots laid lifeless under them. 

  "..That stupid Lightner... she hurt you guys... s-she hurt you two and I... I couldn't even help. I-I'm weak without you guys. I'm... useless. I'm worthless. What's the point of living if.. if I can't even help you. I can't go on knowing that.. my helplessness killed you both. I-if I was stronger.. if.. if I was braver then I could.." they trailed off, snapping their head around, looking at us. 

  "Uh.. hey," Susie waved timidly. "Oh. It's just you weird guys. I saw you three with Queen. You... fixed her," they said. "...Yes, we did fix her, what about it?" I asked. "...Fix my siblings. Please. This... girl. I think she's from where you're from. She hurt both of them a-and I just... please. I'll do anything you ask if you can at least try," they pleaded. Susie and I looked at Jupes, who nodded and walked up to the other two robots. Green energy formed in her hands as they placed them on them both. The energy surged, knocking Jupes back. The two robots sat up suddenly, their voiceboxes full of static, yet still comprehensible. 

   "We're back?" the taller one said. "Haha... HAHAH! THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!" the speaker robot cried, hugging their siblings. "Where are we right now..? Who are those guys..? Are they friends with that girl who... I should've killed her before she.." the shorter one asked. "Kris, Susie, Jupes. We're the prophecied Lightners. You're welcome," I introduced us. "Looks like Noelle's been here already then... we gotta catch up with her," Susie said lowly. I nodded. "If you want us to show you the way out, then I'll do it gladly. The name's Sweet by the way. Tall one is K_K, and shorter one is Cap'n," Sweet introduced. "Nice to meet ya," Susie smirked. 

We followed them down a few conveyor belts that led us back to where we were before, except another path was opened up. We went up there when they stopped at a shack.

"Just follow that path and keep going. Pretty sure you'll reach the city. Past that is Queen's mansion, and I'm sure this.. 'fountain' thing you're talking about is there. This is our stop," Sweet directed us. "Thank you," Jupes smiled. "You're the one that brought my siblings back. I can never thank you enough," Sweet shook their hand. "Ohh, it was nothinggg.." Jupiter chuckled. "Alrighty, let's get a move on," Susie said. 

We waved Sweet goodbye and continued on the path they pointed out for us. 

I felt Susie hold onto my hand, and my face heated up. 

  "Wanna tell me what's on your mind?" she asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I mean, what the hell's up with you? You seem so tense lately," she continued, her eyes studying my expression. "...I don't know Suz... Just... I feel.. off. Everything about this place is making me feel weird and I kinda just wanna get Berdly and Noelle and get the fuck out," I chuckled nervously. She kissed me softly, tilting my head up to her and I felt instantly better. "Heheh... I needed that.." I smiled. "And I needed that," she grinned uncontrollably. "Needed what?" I asked. "To see you smile again. I missed it," she smirked, kissing my cheek again.  "We'll be out soon Dork Diary. I'll even take you out somewhere to make up for this. W-well.. if you want.. or something," she blushed. "How long are you gonna call me 'Dork Diary..'" I sighed. "How high can you count Kris?" she asked, chuckling.
