The ocean

I remember: it was as clear as night.
I remember swimming in the salty ocean.
The ocean is something that I love.
But who doesn't love the ocean?
She told me "there are lots of people who will never ever love the ocean".
I told him "you are not thinking positively".
She said "there's nothing positive about the ocean. It drowns sailors, kills innocent ones, wrecks ships".
I just stayed silent.
The ocean is something I respect. I know the ocean needs some alone time, so I gave it the time it needed.
I hoped that the ocean would look up to me.
I dive through the waves like no other.
The ocean can be full of its home destruction

But somehow I am the only one who could understand its beauty and its hidden weakness like a loving person should.
I found it lovely how the waves softly crash against the rocks bench.
Their wonderful curling fingers brushing each stone gently like when a mother holds her very first newborn baby for the first time.
I loved how it destroyed sand castles in its way.

The wind picked up and ushered them gently towards shore along with a suitcase that only had a toothbrush and a comb.
"What is my ocean hiding from me"? I question.
The sun shone off the rippling water, its golden light, warped in twisted glass waves full of lies.
The moon is begging you to stay alive.
I'm telling you to try to care.
You say no fuck you.

No description can truly capture it's mysterious majesty.
There's no category this ocean belongs it's like all my love that I have for you.
I'm telling you: you will find hope, but just not today dear.
Yet somehow,
Only a few words can express it's true natural beauty and that's love.
