That's what I was told
What if it's not a dream?
What is the love isn't real?
"Let down your walls" they said
Why when I'll get hurt everytime?
I feel this, and so does everyone else who think they don't get attention.
Love is earned, not given away like candy.
"Experience love" they said.
No one told you it would be easy
No one told you it would stay
No one told you it wouldn't hurt
What do you want?
If you are gonna let someone in, know them first.
It may take days...
weeks...
months....
years...
but you will soon get to know that this "friend" may be acting out
even tho you THINK you know them... do you really?
Feelings need to be saved for someone special
Not wasted on a traitor
Backstabs....
Heartbreaks...
These need to be salvaged.
Open your eyes
