"Bye mom!!" I say getting aboard the plane. Looking back at her, she looks so happy. Ever since dad died she hasn't been the same. It's great to see her back to her normal self.
I can't believe I'm spending a whole summer away from home... by myself!! I mean I am about to graduate but still. I rented this cute beach house,
it's right on the beach. I can't wait to be waking up to the beautiful view. It' isn't just great that I'm staying by myself, but I've been told this a popular vacation spot amongst college kids. I wish I could have brought Jacque with me but she's going to England again.
As I'm walking down the plane aisle to find my seat, I walked past so many cute boys. "This is going to be a great plane ride", as I thought to myself. I found my seat, seat 14B. Of course I get stuck next to the Indian lady that smelled like curry. I'm not a racist but she sure did smell bad.
I get comfortable in my seat and plug in my head phones. I try as hard as I can to not sing along to the words but we all know how hard that is.
The plane ride from D.C to Malibu is 5 hours so I might as while get a head start on bucket list.
Sophia's bucket list:
1.) Get very tan
2.) Eat healthy not just junk food
3.) Go on a run at least 1 a day
4.) Meet some friends!
5.) go scuba diving
6.) Get completely wasted
7.) Maybe meet a boy??
That's what I've been debating for the last 2 weeks. I just got over the biggest break up I've ever had. I don't know if I'm ready to be cheated on and lied to again. But going out on dates again do sound fun. I put my list away and slowly daze off.
