The young masters have gone back to work, and the 2 young L's had a good break but time ran by and they have to go back to work. In the end, it was not all that bad they had to learn the different Clan's history, starting with their beloved Clan.
Lan Ying: That is an interesting story can't believe a person turned nothing into what the Clan is today.
Lan Qiren: Alright is time for review, review our clan's history with each other.
Lan Ying always found quite boring Lan Qiren's lectures but he joined this clan and is willing to follow every rule to become a good clan member. Now he is reviewing the history of their clan in full detail with Lan Zhan
Lan Ying: Ok Lan Zhan who was the founder of the Gusu Clan?
Lan Zhan: If my memory doesn't fail me I am pretty sure it was Lan An
Lan Ying: You are correct, ok you can ask me a question now.
Lan Zhan: What was his life like before Lan An became the clan's leader?
Lan Ying: hmmm he was born in a temple if I remember correctly, he also became a famous monk when he was young, and decided to cultivate as a musician.
Lan Zhan: That is about right, good job Wei- I mean Lan Ying
Lan Qiren: Alright bring your attention back over here please, so you don't have homework tonight but I am expecting you to study for your test next week. You are all dismissed.
BACK IN THE ROOM
Wei Ying's POV
Wei Ying: I am exhausted
Lan Zhan: It was not that hard besides we don't have homework today
Wei Ying: Thank the lord
Lan Zhan: Wei Ying don't be like that come on now we have to go eat dinner with everyone.
Wei Ying: Alright then
While we were heading for dinner and talking about random things our Uncle said Lan Zhan's father would join us.
Lan Qiren: Children today Wangji's and Xichen's father are going to join us for this dinner
Lan Zhan: Good evening a father
Qingheng-Jun: Good evening Wangji
It was one of the most weird dinners I ever had personally Lan Zhan's father rarely came out of where he was secluded, he ran the clan where he spent most of the time trapped next to where Lan Zhan's mother or where she was at. When we finished dinner it was pretty late (For the Lan's the sleeping time of the Lan's is very dumb personally) so I and Lan Zhan just went to our room without saying anything.
After a few hours of what seemed to me I was dreaming or I think I was I don't know but I saw something strange.
???: Your power is in great danger
Wei Ying: Who is there?
???: My name doesn't matter, all me here too is that your power is in great danger, your power along with your friend is dangerous you got to learn how to control it.
Wei Ying: We don't even know what this power is, how can we control it we don't have clues, or a path to follow.
???: The pond in Gusu is the only hint I will give you, and listen closely your power can come with good benefits but you have to learn how to control it, or else it will become your enemy...
Wei Ying: *gasps and wakes up* what was that? should I check the pond?
Lan Zhan: You have the same dream too?
Wei Ying: *sigh* I imagine you know what I am thinking at this point
Lan Zhan: Should we check the pond?
Wei Ying: Let's focus on our studies first, we just got back to work I kind of fear what we may find if we go to the pond
Lan Zhan: You are right, let's get some rest for now, good night Wei Ying
Wei Ying: Good night Lan Zhan
The young masters went back to sleep ignoring that dream. They have tried their best to ignore that dream, but it kept coming back, and yet they still focused on training
Lan Qiren: Ok youngsters is time for an archery competition between all the clans is gonna happen in 2 weeks from now so you all better prepare, because the next few weeks of training aren't gonna be easy
Lan Zhan: *raises his hand*
Lan Qiren: Yes Lan Zhan?
Lan Zhan: May I ask who are the main competitors of all the clans?
Lan Qiren: I don't know, but is most likely is people around your age, any other questions? If not you are all dismissed
