Yoongi's POV
00h01 - Haneul's living room
Apparently, Haneul's grandmother was far too rich for the liking of those who knew her and that was one of the reasons why she, a woman strong and fit at the age of sixty five had passed away so suddenly.
I finally understood why Halmoni had picked all seven of us to marry Haneul. She knew that our parents' were either in the military or legal departments of the South Korean government.
More importantly, Halmoni also knew we all were secretly in love with Haneul. Though, how she had confirmed this before we were all old enough to understand our own emotions or what love is for that matter, is far beyond my imagination.
'It is now midnight.' I sighed, running my hands over my face.
I still sat on the sofa in Haneul's living room, still thinking, carefully, through my next move.
I huffed out in frustration, rubbing my hands over my face in exasperation, hoping to ease away the tension that had gathered there. Hearing a beep, I pulled out my phone, checking my text messages and emails.
There were at least fifty text messages on our group chat, my cousins had been conversing about our fiancée (mostly they goaded and teased me about my date).
Jungkook and Jin hyung had sent me a few emails about the cases we were currently working on. There was also an email from Jimin about the lead he had on our number one suspect.
I replied to a few important texts; then threw my phone aside on the sofa, not looking, or caring to see where the phone bounced off to; I was too frustrated with the information I received.
Someone was interfering in our lives again. They were dormant for the last four years. But now, since we have met our fianceé again, they're interfering once more.
It's bad enough we lost four years with her thanks to them...
Everything was fine until that day...
I remember the moment I got the call as if it were yesterday. My heart hammered in my chest. I felt so helpless..
It was after that day that Jin hyung, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and I agreed that the seven of us will never ever sit back and watch. We will never be helpless again.
