POEM (DANCING IN THE RAIN WITH YOU)
It is truly amazing that I didn't even think about looking for you until I found you. And now that I have you it feels like a dream come true
All those years ago our eyes met and in that moment I knew I was yearning for you.
you came in like a storm and swept me off my feet.
You took my dead ,hollow soul ,showered it with love and now I bloom in your palm.
The ocean may be in your eyes,
but they will always remain my calm.
I wasn't waiting on rainbows to shine all i needed was someone to call mine.
You said you first seen me elegantly dancing in the rain
little did you know i was washing away the pain. You said that you prayed for it to rain just so you could see me dance again.
I will never forget the night we met.
the time you held me breaking down in the rain .
the time your words soothed my pain.
After that every rain we danced away.
they said the darkness of your soul will take away my light. But who needs light when thunder shines bright . I'm glad you stayed even when i pushed you away .
look at us now growing together every single day.
Youare like my thunder protecting me loud and clear.
life without you isn't something i can bear
life with you still feels like a dream but then I open my eyes
just to drown in your oceanic orbs lovingly staring back at mine.
Now I'm dancing in the rain with you again .
but this this time without regrets and pain .
I know you love me i see it in your eyes as the water falls upon us
when you hold onto me tight making our bodies sway
And you know i love you
I make sure to tell you it every day .
ilove how my life feels complete when i am dancing but only with you.
