I rode my skateboard as the steady wind blew in my face, I was heading to The Creek. The Creek was a swamp like habitat behind my house, it has this kind of essence to it, steady and quiet. The Creek has a mystery to it, a murder mystery, as I stopped to look at the water I shot my eyes straight to the bottom. Some people say if you look hard enough you'll see it, the body.
My name is Adrian Sinclair, I'm a highschool student at South Side High. I'm a guitar player and just recently started a music/band club. I planned to meet my friends here yesterday to inspect the matters and find that body.
As I looked around I heard laughing, nobody else was brave enough to come over here so I assumed it was my friends, Cassie, Zoe, Leo, and Ray. I started to walk to were the sound was coming from just as it started raining "Over here!" Cassie yells waving her hand, I sat on the log with them and asked "So, the plan?", The log was under a big willow tree with it's branches and leaves covering us from the heavy rain."Right, so we're going to come back tonight, Ray and I will bring scuba gear, I'll bring my dad's boat in case we need to leave, you know how to swim right Adri?" Leo said to me, I nodded and he responded with "Good, meet back at 10,"
The Plan was set.
Later that day
I was at The Creek waiting for Ray and Leo to signal me, Cassie and Zoe, as we were waiting we started talking "I'm surprised Leo isn't grounded yet, hanging with kids like us, his parents surely doesn't like us, especially since his family is wealthy" I said tying my hair up, Cassie and Zoe look at each other"Well, we could think of two reasons
"What?" I asked as they stared at me, we were interrupted sadly by the boys yelling "You guys have to check this out!" Leo yelled, we got up and ran to them, I stood in horror of what I saw, Ray was holding a bloody knife teh he had pulled from..the river?
