My whole body is shaking as I awaken from a dream. Quickly I rose out of my bed. I check the clock. The really cute pink heart shaped clock read 3:00AM.
"This is the 5th time I have woken up from a bad dream tonight!" I said unamused. "Why can't I just get some good sleep! I yelled quietly.
As I got out of bed I realized once more that I am not in my own pink room with hearts decorated everywhere. I was in a cold dark room with only a couple of my stuffed animals and other personal items. I remembered quickly that I had to stay in a cottage away from home while in training.
Most people don't really know me because my parents are more of the knowable kind. I'm shy and don't have many friends like my brother and sister do. My friend group consists of Lola, Zinnia, and Cora. I am the daughter of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, and my father, Hermes, god of speed.
Right now I am not staying in my parents house, I'm staying in a little cottage in Atlas. Every day while training I can just dream of when I'm finished and can see my friends. We will probably spend every minute of every day together.
Anyway back to right now. I was walking down the stairs to get a glass of water when I heard something...
"a growl? I am confused. "But it does not sound like any wild animal... not like a bear, wolf, or even a dog." I whisper to myself. "It sounds like... Valentine!!" I yell excitedly .
Valentine is my pet cat. I found her in the woods as a little kitten. She is my favorite breed, a calico German long hair. She loves to follow me everywhere. Cats are my favorite animal. so when I found her I could not resist taking her in. She was trying to practice hissing to scare off predators outside.
"Awww" I say as I open the door to let her in. I am an animal person I guess you could say. I love everything there is to know about animals!
