CHAPTER-45

A surprise update guys!!!!

Rocky looked at Ram and asked, "Papa is the wedding finalized?" Ram nodded and Rocky said, "I have a negative feeling whenever I think about this Rohan." 

"Even I don't get a good vibe from that boy but your mother and sister are adamant." Said Ram.

 Reena looked at them and said, "Rocky, you were allowed to choose your partner, likewise Reya also must be allowed to do it."

 "You can't understand my stand, Reya is like my child, it is my responsibility to choose a good man who has her partner carefully, don't come in between me and her, you won't understand the relationship we share." Said Rocky in a hard tone.

 "Okay, now don't go hard on Reena Beti, Raja." Said Ram. Rocky just walked away leaving Reena and Ram. 

"Beti, he is overprotective of her, they may look like fighting all the time but they share a beautiful bond. That is why he spoke like that." Said Ram. 

Reena simply nodded with a small smile and went to her room. She heard the water from the bathroom and understood that Rocky was in the shower.

 She sat on the bed waiting for him. The door opened and Rocky came out wearing just his tracks and drying his hair with a towel, he walked to the balcony without even sparing a glance at Reena. 

She knew he was upset and decided to leave him a bit alone for two reasons, she firmly believed that a marriage without love will be like a body without a soul and Rocky wants to push his sister into a marriage of his choice, she did not like it and she also did not like his tone. 

So, she went to shower without speaking anything to him. By the time Reena came out of the shower she found Rocky sleeping on the bed on his stomach hugging her pillow. 

She sat near him and touched his hair; it was a bit damp. She took a fresh towel and gently dried his hair without disturbing him much. 

After making sure his hair was dry, she moved to the other side of the bed and lay down.

 She looked at her husband sound asleep, he was exhausted due to all the travel. Reena was also tired but not drained out like Rocky as she was used to making trips like this. 

She slowly drowsed watching her Rocky sleeping. Reena woke up hearing a knock on the door. 

She combed her hair through her fingers and made a bun as she walked to get the door. She opened the door and found Reya standing there, "Ree, it's dinner time." Said Reya.

 "What?" asked Reena as she rubbed her eyes sleepily. 

"It's almost nine-thirty." Said Reya. 

"Oh, you go I'll wake Rocky and we'll come down in a few minutes." Said Reena.

 She closed the door again and turned on the bedside lamp and sat near Rocky and slightly patted his cheeks. 

"Rocky gets up it's time to eat." Said Reena. 

But Rocky did not even move, Reena sighed and patted his arms a bit harder, and said, "Rocky wake up."

 Rocky tossed and turned mumbling something. "Eat something and sleep." Said Reena pulling his arms.

 Rocky sat up rubbing his eyes sleepily. Reena got a shirt for him and helped him wear it. Reena went down first followed by Rocky who was still sleepy-eyed. 

"Rey Rocky, come and at the clothes I ordered for my wedding." Said Reya in an over-excited tone. 

They were in the living room. Reena smiled slightly and waited till Rocky came near as Priya was also seated on the living room sofa looking grim.

 "See, I got a sherwanis for you and lehengas for Reena with the same designs for all the functions and those designs will match mine too." Explained Reya in a happy tone.

 Rocky looked at the clothes and prayed for his sister's happiness. He found Ram sitting like a quiet mouse. "Nice designs." Said Reena shortly. 

"What nice designs, I made sure that me, you, Rocky, and Rohan will wear the same kind of clothes and got them like that but you are not even having one-third of the excitement I am having, Ree." Said Reya feeling a bit hurt.

 "It's not like that Rey, your idea is wonderful." Said Reena smiling genuinely.

 Reya smiled and went on to the next topic, "Rocky chooses any one of these designs, nah." Said Reya showing him two pictures of mehandi designs. 

Rocky looked at the pictures but he was thinking something else. Reya saw this and asked Reena, "Ree, see this." Reena was about to choose one but she remembered Rocky's words and said, "Ask your brother also." Rocky's thoughts were broken as he heard Reena saying something.

 "The dinner is set on the table. Ma's" said the house help. "Okay, now let's all eat." Said Ram standing up. 

Reena waited for Reya to put away the things and walked to the dining table. Dinner was a silent affair as Reena tried to ignore Rocky and Reya. 

She looked at her plate and tried to gobble her food and run back to her room. Post-dinner Rocky and Reena went to their room, "Ree, Rocky are you both so tired?" asked Reya. 

"Why?" asked Rocky turning, "I want you both to help me choose some designs." Said Reya.

 "Rey, Rocky is exhausted with all the travel so am I, please let's do this tomorrow." Said Reena in a pleading tone. 

Reya was a bit disheartened as she was by Reena's side during her wedding and she wanted her to be by her side during her wedding.

 "Reya, I am here I will help you." Said Priya looking at Roeena steely. 

Reya walked away with Priya following her. Reena looked at Reya's disappearing figure and felt tears coming up. 

She felt a hand on her shoulder and found Rocky spreading his arms and inviting her for a hug. 

Reena ran into his arms and he took her inside the room. They both sat on the bed and suddenly Reena remembered that she was upset with Rocky and tried to come out of his embrace but Rocky held her tight.

 "Shona, I know you are upset that I was hard on you, that is why you are hesitating to be with Reya, I know you are her friend and want her wishes to come true, but she is my sister she is like my baby. 

Our views will differ when it comes to Reya, you continue to be her friend and be by her side. I will not feel bad. And I am very sorry for the incident which happened earlier. Confessed Rocky.

 Reena looked up from his chest and kissed his cheeks and rested her forehead on his and both closed their eyes relishing the moment.
