The art of Silence
Silence feeds our imaginations
It give us time to think...
Silence allows for people to be heard,
It gives us not only time to think,
But it gives people time to form the words they want heard..
In this world there is a lot of noise,
And people rarely notice the silence...
Mainly because we spend so much time listening to the things people are saying, that we rarely pay attention to the things they don't..
And like MLK says best,
"We will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."
And I know we all remember the times the world stood silent as our brothers and sisters died.
And when the time of questioning comes around this tends to happen...
(see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil)
People tend to stay silent and this is when silence is noticed..
And that's why I think silence is beautiful...
Because silence (like art) is known by everyone, but only a few chose to perfect in it.
