And everything went black... The only thing I remember is feeling the hand of my husband Mateo when he was in the hospital and the sad look of my children, Edward and Lili. The pain is gone, that disease definitely ended my life as the doctors diagnosed it, but I was prepared for this moment. I had the perfect life and I definitely have nothing to regret.
Soon I felt like I was drowning, I opened my eyes and there was only water around me. I tried swimming to the outside but soon the water began to flood my lungs.
In the distance I heard the sound of the waves and that smell that I liked so much from the beach. I began to react that I was at the edge of the water, but a few moments ago I felt as if I was drowning, what happened? I sat down to be able to look around and know where I was, without a doubt it was that place that I loved so much as a child. I walked until I reached the entrance, it was definitely not the current Ruby Pier but the one from my childhood. With a lot of emotion, I went to tour the place and to remember all those happy moments that I spent in this place. On one side was the popcorn stand, on the other the photo station, oh! and there are the slides. Without a doubt, everything is as I remembered it.
- Look at you, now you are quite a little woman.
I turned to see who was and I found a man.
- Sorry? – I said
- Don't you remember me, Ammy? – He said
-Ammy? My name is Annie.
The man just laughed; he looked familiar to me.
- Thank you for taking away that question that I have carried for years.
- What question?
The man just started walking.
- Where are you going?
He didn't answer, I had no choice but to follow him. We walked until we reached the other side of the park. Something was strange.
- Here - the man said.
I turned around and saw that attraction. I turned to see the man and he was just admiring Freddy's Free Fall. I certainly knew that man. The beard, the hair, oh!
-Eddy?
He just turned around and gave me a smile.
- Oh! Eddie! I remember you, what are you doing here, what am I doing here?
- Well, Annie, welcome to my heaven.
Will continue...
