Minori's Sunshine

Sibling's bond ^-^

The concert was a success. Minori felt proud of herself and looked at the crowd before her. Her eyes landed on her little brother Ishu whose eyes were lit with excitement seeing his older sister sing. She couldn't lie, she mostly sang for him.

"Thanks, everyone!!! I hope you enjoyed the concert!!!" Minori shouts, waving at the crowd who all cheered for her and the other More More Jump members. Ishu got up and ran towards Minori giving her a huge hug which was his way of congratulating her. Minori smiles and carries her little brother spinning him before heading backstage with her friends. Once backstage Minori sets Ishu down.

"What did you think of tonight's show little bro?" She asks and gives Ishu a little fist bump on his chest.

"You were an amazing big sis!!!" Ishu shouts. Minori can't handle the cuteness that Ishu was giving off and squeezes him but not enough to harm him.

"AHH!!! YOU'RE SO ADORABLE!!!" She screams out. Ishu finds himself becoming even happier the long Minori squeezes him. Some of Minori's friends walked over to Ishu and Minori. They adore Ishu too and wanted to hug him as well. Minori lets go of Ishu so her friends can hug him too, but Ishu was a bit overwhelmed by the sudden attention and hides behind Minori. Her heart can't contain the amount of cuteness that Ishu was letting out.

"Oh sorry Ishu, we didn't mean to scare you." One of her friends said. Of course, Ishu forgave them with head pats. Each one of Minori's friends was happy with their head pats.

"Hehehe!" Ishu stops after a while and walks over to Minori. He started to tug on her shirt and asked if they would go home. She sighs and ruffles Ishu's hair and tells him that they'll go home for dinner. Minori waves goodbye to her friends leaving backstage shortly after. Minori walks out into the street while holding Ishu's hand. She noticed that Ishu was growing a bit tired and being the older sister she is, Minori picked up Ishu and carried him on her back. The two siblings were in a delighted mood tonight, above them was the light of a full moon. A was a beautiful sight for Minori to see. Being here, under the moonlight with her little brother. She couldn't wish for anything better than this. Ishu couldn't wish for a better sister than Minori. She carried Ishu all the way home in the cold snow. The cold didn't bother her as she felt warm with her little brother. She thought back to when she first held Ishu in her hand. He was a blessing to her, he brought light to everything with his joyful mood. Although he was a bit shy, he was still her sunshine. Upon reaching home, Ishu was fast asleep. She pondered if she should wake up Ishu for dinner or not. Minori decided to surprise him with his favorite meal. She lets out a giggle and walks into the kitchen after tucking Ishu in on his side of the bed, since they two lived alone they shared a bed to cut extra costs. The two didn't mind obviously. Minori claps her hands together.

"Allow your big sister to make you the best curry ever!" She shouts to herself. Minori opens the fridge and grabs the ingredients for the tastiest curry Ishu will ever taste. Everything that was in her grandparents' recipe book was a piece of cake. She cooked countless dishes for both herself and Ishu, Minori even cooked for a celebration that her parents hosted back when they used to be with them. She thought back to the feedback that guests gave which helped boost her confidence. This was the first time she was making curry using the recipe book. If she was going to make Ishu his favorite meal then she must perfect it. Minori took out her grandparents' recipe book and looked through it until she found the curry page. Despite the book being many years old, it was still in peak condition. She took a deep breath and started to cook.

"Here we go!!!" Minori cooked harder than she has ever cooked. Doing everything in that book exactly as it was written. She didn't mess up, not even one bit. Sweat poured down as the kitchen started to heat up due to her intense cooking skills. The frying pan was starting to get too hot to touch. Thinking quickly Minori grabbed the oven mittens. She grabbed the handle of the pan, took it off the heat, and let it cool for a couple of minutes. While that was happening she prepared the rice. Clean it perfectly and set it in the rice cooker to steam it to perfection. Minori grabbed the vegetables and started to cut them into even pieces. She mixed them in with the meat and grabbed the rapidly cooling frying pan. She tossed in the mixed vegetables and meat along with the secret curry recipe and started to cook everything on top of a blazing fire. The cooking was very intense for some reason. It seems like Minori was trying to the best of her ability and soon it was done. She stared at the finished meal with stars in her eyes. It was perfect. Minori set the table and ran towards her room where Ishu was sleeping. She was about to slam the door open but remember that he was sleeping, Minori slowly opened the door. Inside was Ishu's sleeping body. So, calm, relaxed, she didn't want to ruin this sight. It wasn't long until Ishu awoke. His sparkling blue eyes stared at Minori's eyes. He sat up and tilted his head at his older sister who only stared at him. Minori realizes that she is staring at Ishu and shakes her head.
