Grassy ran in to see a destroyed neighborhood. Barricaded, pieces of various items, and little to no signs of life.
Basketball hurried in to chase after grassy
"GRASSY! DONT RUN OFF LIKE THAT!!" She scowled
Grassy paid no mind to this and ran off, playing around.
"Wh- GRASSY!"
Basketball ran close behind. The two explored the broken down homes of others and found a few resources. They went deeper and deeper into the neighborhood, and after a while it got a little too creepy.
"Come on, bud. We should probably turn around." Basketball said.
He stopped then turned to look at basketball.
"Ok! But only if you give me more Dino nuggies!"
Basketball hesitated a bit, but knowing grassy was just a kid she agreed.
"Alright.. I'll try!" She said reluctantly.
The started retracing their steps back to the portal, but then the path shifted.
A building moved in front of them and just stayed there. The two looked at each other in disbelief and then back at the town home looking house. They just decided to continue walking along the path, little did they know someone was watching them.
"You think they're safe?"
"Well.. do they have any symptoms?"
"mmmmm no, doesn't look like it"
"Well then just grab a weapon and confront them"
"Alright!"
...
"Ok at this point, we're lost grassy." Basketball said
"Are not!.. maybe.." Grassy replied
Out of the blue, a bouncy ball came into view. Not with limbs, just a green bouncy ball.
"Stay back, grassy" basketball slowly walked towards the ball.
"YAAAAAH!!!!" The ball screamed as it popped out limbs and grabbed a spear.
Basketball froze out of fear
"STAY BACK YOU- oh nvm your good" and then walked off
"Wait where are you going!?" Basketball said In confusion
"Base. Wanna come?"
"Yeah!"
Then the 3 walked to one of the broken down houses in the neighborhood. It took a while, but they finally made it.
"Everyone, meet— wait who are you?"
" Why should we tell yo-"
"Im grassy and this is basketball!"
" sick! Stay as long as you want, or i could lead you to the exit. "
"Exit, please..!" Basketball said
They were led through the maze and back to the main center. But the others were gone.. oh boy...
