Eclipse POV
We all stayed put in the control, stunned and shaking. For several minutes we all sat there, tense and unmoving. It wasn't until the smugglers ship disconnected and flew off did someone speak.
"Um.... Bomb room....?" Wavelength whispers.
"None of them are active. Right?" Flare asks worried.
"No. I don't think any of them were." I answer.
"The smoke bomb was." Solar shakes.
"A-and the ghost." I whisper back.
"Ghost...?" Siege watched our trembling frames. "What ghost?"
"I- we thought the pirates were crazy, the flickering lights, the crates, the pitters." Solar rambled.
"What is he going on about?" Flare pulls himself up.
"Something is on the ship!!" I urge panicked.
"No there's-" Harmony stopped Wavelength.
*There's something in the walls.*
The control lights flicker and Solar whines. We all go quiet, the pittering was heard again.
"Oh. I see now." Flare whispers mildly concerned.
"What. Is that." Siege mumbles.
"I don't know!!" I hiss worried.
"Wait Harmony!!" Wavelength tried grabbing her but she moved further away.
"What is she doing?!"
*I'm looking!* She explained matter of factly.
"For what?!" Solar pressed.
*That!* Pittering came from the wall directly in front of her.
We all froze.
"Sooo... what is the sound feeling like?" Flare whispers.
*um.*
"Well?" I watch her.
*I think the boss pirate was right about them being idiots*
"Pardon?" Solar frowns.
Harmony opens the vent she walked to and sticks her arm in.
*Look!!*
Our clearly fearless Harmony pulled out a tiny creature.
"I- what is that?!" Siege blinks surprised.
"It look like an Earth mouse?" Solar tilted his head.
"With two tails." Flare sighs.
*Yep!! She's giving off electric charges.* Harmony informs us.
"Electric charges." Siege repeats.
"And pittering." Solar starts connecting the dots.
"And no one saw it." Wavelength caught on.
"The crates though?" Flare brought up.
"Already unbalanced. A wrong jump from the mouse sent them crashing." I reason.
"The smoke bomb?" Siege frowned.
"Misinterpreted as a toy." Solar grins.
"I- Hang on. We just ran screaming from a ghost, only to find an alien mouse?" My wings flutter annoyed.
"How did it get on board? It's not native to Cybertron." Wavelength walked up to Harmony and our new guest.
"It must have been on the smugglers ship. Those shuttles are NOT known for being clean. She must have boarded our ship when the pirates did." Solar filled in the gaps.
"So, an alien space mouse with electric powers tricked everyone into thinking it was the undead." Siege sits down, not sure how to react.
*Can I keep it?* Harmony tapped Solars leg.
"I- you know what yes. Why not." He crouched down the pet the mouse.
*Yay!!*
I sigh, shoulders dropping.
"But, all in all, we are all alive?" Flare checked on us.
"Yeah. Yeah we are." I smile slightly.
Next to me Solar starts laughing.
"We- we just screamed- And ran- with pirates no smarter than a door knob- from a ghost!!!" He falls to his knees. "Only for the ghost to be a fluffy mouse?!"
I smile as our captain starts wheezing. Against my luck I start laughing as well.
"What has this adventure become?!" I laugh breathless.
The rest of them followed our lead, starting to laugh themselves.
"We- oh my." Siege chuckles.
"I'm taking the mouse as a good omen!" Flare cheers.
"You know what, so am I." Wavelength agreed.
*I think she's a wonderful mouse!* Harmony boasts about her friend.
"She definitely is." Siege agrees.
"Well then. That horrifying experience is over." I take a seat.
"Thankfully. But these smugglers do raise a concern." Siege sits as well.
"And that is?" Solar turns to him, now calmed down.
"Access to Cybertron is shrinking. Rapidly. While yes, that means some of those smugglers with be down there, that also means a lot will be up here." Siege brings up.
"And with no access to Cybertron, that means no one to raid. Trading ships will be stuck on planet." Flare hums annoyed.
"Thus creating a very hostile environment up here. They'll be forced to raid each other." I add on.
*And us.* Harmony finished.
"So then, no where near Cybertron is safe anymore...?" Wavelength asked, worried about the answer.
"No. The moons themselves won't be safe for much longer either." I reason.
"You think the virus has reached the bots there yet?" Siege moves some of his attention to our mouse friend.
"Ratchet wasn't sure. He thinks it's likely. There were rumors of one of the moons cutting contact completely." Solar informed everyone.
"Can you guess which one?" I ask.
"No. I can't." Solar sulks a bit.
"We left one threat only to fly into the heart of another." Flares wings flicked worried.
"That we did." Wavelength looks at his peds.
*How are we going to react to it?* Harmony looked up from her mouse.
"Land on one of the moons and rest for a small bit." Siege suggests.
"Find an open field again. No risk of infection that way. After we rest, we can brain storm ideas." Solar finalizes.
"Flare?" Siege looks to his brother.
"It would be the best idea. Process that we really can't go back to Cybertron now." Flare nods, taking his roll a Crew Manager seriously.
"So we all sleep. That sounds amazing." Wavelength stands up.
"After we land yes." Solar reminded him.
We all moved and got back to our seats. The sudden emotional roller coaster was hitting us. We made it to the closest moon and landed safely. After cutting the engines, we all left the control room. I open my berthroom door and crash onto my berth, falling into recharge almost instantly.
