After months and months of agonisingly slow planning. Y/N had given Lizzie the wedding of her dreams. That was all they ever dreamed of. Making the woman they would love forever happy. Although Lizzie was also now expecting and had to have her dress altered to accomodate her bump. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to marry her love.
"You look beautiful Liz." Scarlett told her. Lizzie beamed as she looked at herself in the full body mirror. Remembering what Y/N's reaction was when she told them about the baby.
Y/N was looking over the possible caterers for the wedding party. Not caring about the money. Making sure that they would also provide anchovies on toast. Just for Lizzie.
"Y/N?" Lizzie questioned as Y/N was writing down notes. Meals and allergies of the guests. "You need to make sure that lambs liver is off the menu." Y/N looked up at her puzzled. Unsure of why people would want to eat that in the first place.
"I didn't know it was on the menu." Y/N told her genuinely confused.
"I don't really care if it was on the menu or not Y/N. Just make sure it stays off." Lizzie said as she scoffed. Y/N was unsure of her outbursts. They watched as her eyes widened before she left the room for a few moments.
"Liz? Are you ok?" They asked as they knocked on the bathroom door. Deciding to check on her.
"Y/N?" Lizzie opened the door. Tears running down her face. "I'm so sorry." She cried as she shown them the stick in her hand.
"Is this positive?" Y/N asked her softly. She just nodded as they held her as she sobbed. "It's going to be ok."
"I'm going to be big on our wedding day." She sobbed as they rubbed her back softly.
"You will still be the most beautiful bride the world has ever seen." They told her soothingly. "All I know is that our baby gets to be there on our wedding day and you will be glowing brighter than the stars in the night sky."
"You should be a poet." Lizzie teased them as they wiped her tears away.
Lizzie smiled at Scarlett as she turned to face her maid of honour. The two smiling in silence. That was all they needed between the two.
"I have been waiting for this day for all of my life." Lizzie whispered as Scarlett smiled wider.
"Let's go and get you hitched." Scarlett smirked.
"Seriously Scar, make today sound cheap." Lizzie told her.
"Hey, you're the one pregnant on your wedding day." Scarlett smirked. The two shared a laugh before leaving the room.
Y/N stood at the alter, waiting impatiently for the woman they want to spend the rest of their life with.
"You look fine Y/N." Jeremy chuckled as he watched Y/N straighten out their suit again.
"You do realise that a goddess is going to be walking down that aisle any moment now." Y/N told him in a hushed voice. "She can't be seen marrying me if I'm not perfect." The music beginning cut them off. Their eyes diverted to the aisle. Their heart beating faster within their chest. "She's stunning." Y/N whispered as their eyes never left Lizzie as she walked towatds them. A teary smile on her face.
Y/N didn't really listen to the minister speak until he asked for the vows. Y/N took a deep breath as they looked into Lizzie's green orbs.
"You know, a lot of people would say getting behind the wheel of a 200mph death machine is frightening, but they couldn't be more wrong." They started. "The scariest moment for me would be not having you by my side for the rest of my life. Being their to help guide me through what other challenges life will bring. Which is going to be stinky nappies for the next two years." Everyone chuckled lightly before Y/N continued. "I wouldn't be the person I am today without you. Since we met, I guess on some level I knew it was supposed to be you but the timing was never right, and of course my being clueless." Lizzie smiled at them as she sniffled slightly. "I do know one thing since then. I will always be here for you. Protect you until my dying day." Y/N finished handing Lizzie a tissue.
"Damn hormones." Lizzie mumbled as she wiped her eyes. "Y/N, my heart knew that it was always going to be us. You and I, but like you said. Timing was never on our side, but now." Lizzie smiled as Y/N's eyes remained trained on Lizzie. "Now I am going to hold on to you as tight as I can, because this family we are starting has been a dream of mine. Growing old with you. Watching our grandkids grow up to follow their dreams. That is the life I dream of with you."
"Y/N, do you take Elizabeth as your lawfully wedded wife?" He asked as he looked at Y/N.
"I do." They spoke softly. Their eyes trained on the beauty before them as they placed the ring on her finger.
"Elizabeth, do you take Y/N as your lawfully wedded partner?" He turned to Lizzie.
"I do." She whispered as she smiled brighter than before as she placed the ring on their finger.
"You may kiss your bride." He said. Both Lizzie and Y/N didn't waste any time in closing the distance between each other. Endulging in a passionate kiss. Resting their foreheads against each other as everyone clapped and cheered for them.
"I love you so much Lizzie." They whispered making her smile.
"I love you too Y/N." She breathed out before kissing them again. Ready to start their life together. Side by side, raising their child.
