With you and Scaramouche being unable to sleep, you suggested that the two of you spend the night with each-other."Really, Scaramouche? Coffee, at 4 in the morning?" You deadpanned. "And you wonder why you can't sleep.." you mumbled.
"Are you going to shove your nose where it doesn't belong? I'm up anyways, what's the harm?"
You inhaled sharply, too tired to withstand Scaramouche's sharp tongue. Gazing out the window, you realised you were sick of the teapot. You wanted to be outside, under the stars.
"..I'm going to go on a walk.. care to join?"
Scaramouche pondered over your words, there's certainly no going back to sleep, and nothing else to do, so why not?
"Yeah, sure"
You chuckled, looking forward to your time with Scaramouche. You had to admit, you were a bit wary about him, but he didn't seem all that bad.
"There's no way you're going out like that. You look like you got ran over by a boar" you inched closer, reaching out to fix his disheveled hair.
He winced, his body stiffened. He noticed you hesitate, slightly retracting your hand. He settled down, allowing you to do as you pleased.
You ran your fingers through his soft locks, occasionally brushing through some knots.
"You're one to talk, you're going out like that?" He sneered, a smug smile plastered on his face.
You tugged gently, yet with force on his hair. "Hey! What's wrong with the way I look?"
He grumbled at the action, only to close his eyes and ignore you.
"All done. Can we get going now?" You asked impatiently.
He rolled his eyes at you, and walked on, leaving you standing there.
You rushed to catch up to him, eventually waking side by side.

You breathed in the fresh night air. The breeze swaying your hair with the wind, you sigh in content.
You felt a pair of eyes lurking, glancing at Scaramouche, he was staring at you with intensity, and once he caught your eye he immediately averted his gaze.
The two of you traveled slowly, appreciating the scenery. The moon shone upon the both of you, a light glow reflecting upon your features.
Time passed fast, your legs ached and you longed for rest. It had been nothing short of silence between the pair of you, yet it was comfortable silence.
"There's a tree over there, can we rest for a bit?"
"Tired already? ...fine."
You sat down, resting your back against the rough bark. You closed your eyes in relief; quickly reopening them when you realised Scaramouche hadn't sat with you. He stood still, his arms crossed over his chest.
You pat the space beside you, beckoning him to join you. He accepted, getting down in one motion. He kept a noticeable distance between you though.
You angled your head upwards, staring in awe at the sea of stars above. Hues of midnight blue, purple, and magenta illuminated the sky.
Scaramouche wholeheartedly believed that the stars were a hoax, that the breathtaking sky of teyvat was fake. He wanted to say something about it, seeing as you were enthralled by the sight, yet he kept quiet. He didn't want to ruin that look on your face.
You shuffled closer to Scaramouche, feeling exhausted. He shot you a knowing look, yet kept his mouth shut.
You leaned your head against his shoulder, exhaustion engulfing your body. Honestly, you were expecting him to pull away, but seeing as he didn't, you relaxed.
"Don't get used to this.. I'm allowing it, for now"
Despite his harsh words, his soothing voice lulled you to a peaceful slumber.
