Y/N POV
I have been travelling with The Bad Batch ever since they helped me escape imperials after I had been captured for being a Jedi. I had heard of Clone Force 99 before Order 66 but never had the pleasure of fighting with them until now.
I have spent a lot of time getting to know the boys since Order 66. They were different to the other clones I have fought with, it was a refreshing feeling to fight with them. I have especially grown fond of the goggled Bad Batcher, but I did my best to push my feelings for him down, I am a Jedi its for the best besides he could never be interested in me.
The pattering sound of Tech's fingers against his data pad littered my ears as I meditated. I sighed. I could sense Tech's attention on me. I look up to see him staring.
"Apologies, am I distracting you?" Tech asked
"No...it's just been hard to focus since Order 66. I can't help but to think that I put a target on your backs. Having me with you-" I was cut off by Wrecker and the rest of the Batch walking in with supplies.
"Nah we already had targets on our backs before we found you, Commander" Wrecker said patting me on the back a little hard. I chuckle softly.
"You don't need to call me that, I never suited that rank anyway. I like to think of myself as a glorified guard" I insisted.
Echo answered an incoming transmission from Cid, she was pressuring us to loot a old imperial ship that was supposedly abandoned. She promised extra credits if we brought back a tactical droid. Before Hunter could step in to argue she reminded us of our deal and cut off the transmission.
"Not much information to go off as usual" Tech typed away on his data pad before jumping up to pilot. I tried to resist the urge to sit with Tech while he pilots and yet I found myself in his presence. Tech informed us that it would take 9 standard hours to arrive at the ship. Tech glances up at me with that adorable look of slight confusion.
"Did you need a briefing? I will cover the information needed before we arrive" He waited for my answer.
I fiddle with my lightsaber subconsciously, something I do when I'm nervous."I just...I was wondering-" I could feel my mouth dry out.
"Um what is your favorite system to hack?" For a Jedi I'm not very charismatic.TECH'S POV
Y/n was fiddling with her lightsaber which indicated that she was either nervous or unsure of something. She has been acting this way around me a lot lately. I hope I'm not making her uncomfortable. I felt a pang in my chest at the thought of her not wanting to be around me. Why does it hurt so much knowing she will never reciprocate my feelings.
I'm not entirely sure that's what she wanted to say to me, but I'm not well versed in social ques so I won't question it. I tell her about the imperial systems that I enjoyed hacking, trying not to ramble to much.
As we arrived at the location of the ship I briefed the team with the limited information I could gather, with no help from Cid. Hunter splits us into groups.
Hunter - Tech
Echo - Y/n
Wrecker - Omega (Guarding the Marauder)I docked the ship underneath the imperial ship in the safest section according to my calculations.
"Let's get to work" Echo commented as the four of us climb up the hatch.
Y/n cutting a hole through the floor with her lightsaber and kicking the piece up, flipping through. Her skills always impress me... not now I need to focus. Y/n gives us the all clear and we make our way up into the hallway.
