The room is cold and empty. Nothing but me and a bare mattress in the loft I stay at. Dust particles made an appearance through the sunlight barely peaking through the blinds. I stare at the dust slowly trickling down to the floor. The faucet dripping in the unused kitchen devours my ears like a gnawing pain. I can't help but to fixate on each drop as I lay on the cold cement ground and my bottle of vodka.
With my blurred vision, I try to recollect the recent events. I've been badly wounded. I somehow bandaged up my wounds in my drunken state but the pain was still there. I was still bleeding. I needed professional help before I'd runout of time and he'd find me.
My teeth sink into my lip stifling the fear I felt. The gut wrenching pain of being captive by my worst enemy. Knowing there's no escape once he has me. It would only be a matter of time.
There's a roaring pain in my throat that instantly makes me chug down more vodka. Yes, more, and more, and more, until I can't even coherently think straight. I need to be numb from all of this. Everything.
Events from last night, were rewinding in my head like a film on repeat. Nothing but fear strangled my body. I could almost feel his hands on me. The more I opened my eyes, it was like he was there with me.
"I told you I'd find you." His voice coes. Maybe the vodka had numbed me up already because his voice sounded so sweet for how malicious he was.
"I'm not mad anymore, just disappointed." His hands caress my face. I feel tears trickling down my face. I'm confused if these tears belong to the owner of the voice or myself. Rough hands wiping the wetness from my face.
He was here. This was real, so fucking real. I wasn't imagining any of this. I know his touch like the back of my hand. His touch still melted some sick part of me. For a second, through my watery eyes, I saw a smile.
"If you think I'm gonna let you die, then you're right, I'd watch you fucking bleed to death as you fucking deserve." His eyes bore into my lifeless ones. Burning rage from his orbs burning into me. I still couldn't move even with his intense gaze on me.
"But I vowed til death do us apart." There's a pained expression on his face. He picks my lifeless body up. I'm now in the hands of my enemy, but also my own very husband.
