**Chloe's P.O.V**

This morning I woke at 5.30. I was waken with a sudden shock. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get back to sleep. I tried everything from counting sheep, reading, to just lying there, i even went down and made myself a hot cup of milk. Nothing seemed to work, so I got up and drew my curtains open to let my eyes adjust to the piercing light. It was a lovely, sunny and quite mild day. It was only 5.50 at this time and it was early february, but the calming sunset made it feel like spring. There was something about today, it seemed better and happy, it had a different feel.

My phone buzzed against my wooden cabinet. I shuffled over to it and peered at my lock screen.

*1 new message - Megan*

Hey Chloe! Hope ur ok? Can't believe I'm seeing them 2day!!! So excited!! See u later, luv u xxxxx

'Seeing them?' I wondered in slight confusion. Who? The thought suddenly snapped into my brain, she was meeting One Direction today. She was so excited and last night on the phone she couldn't say thank you enough. Nice to know I pleased someone I guess.

By this time it was around 6.40, so decided to jump in the shower. I opened my door, and heard a deep and what seemed like manly voice. I knew who it was straight away..David. He must have stayed the night, great, now I'm gonna have to face that later. But I was determined not to let anybody ruin my unusually jolly mood. I had a long refreshing shower and soaked my body in the fresh warm dashes of water. I hopped out, dried myself and hurried along to my room. I didn't want to see dave at all, it was something about his face that just made me boil with anger and frustration.

As it was a nice day I dressed in some light blue jeans, a floral top, a leather studded jacket and matching leather studded converse'. I had my hair down and let my natural blonde wavy curls hang loose down my back, reaching around midway. I applied my daily amount of make up, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and even added some pink lipstick. Today was going to be a good day, I could feel it.

Even my journey to school was quite pleasant, I had my earphones placed snug in my ears, and listened to uplifting and fast beat songs, I couldn't care if people could hear it, I was happy. The bus driver was his old content self again and even the elderly and usually miserable women gave me a smile or two. When I approached my college I took a look around to see what was happening. The usual really, people chatting to their friends, the basic birches being..well..bitches, and the boys being total jerks, but I didn't let it get me down. Even Megan, Lucy and Holly said I had a spring in my step. Megan was bubbling with excitement when I saw her, she was dressed in really cute clothes as she was seeing One Direction straight after college. She was still trying to convince me to go with her but I wanted it to go to someone who actually cared for them. That was all she talked about all day, what she would do if Harry gave her his number, what she would say to Zayn if he asked her out, and mainly what she would do if Louis asked her to marry him. She was crazy, a total fruit loop, but it's just the way she is and it makes me smile so much. They all do.

Although the day went pretty slow it must have been the bright blue sky and warm sun that kept me going. I had Art, Business Studies and Biology, which could have been better but I didn't really mind. As we were packing up Megan was talking to me and Lucy about what's happening tonight. One Direction are apparently staying in the Grande Hotel just down the road from Holly's so she's going with her afterwards to try and get a peep of them, bless her.
