Before Evie could even think about what shadow was, a jet black great Dane came trotting over to Rhea, lying down at her feet, Its tail nearly knocking Evie over as it hit the back of her legs. Evie looked down at the great Dane, clearly well trained as it focused on Rhea waiting for its next instruction. 'Cage' Rhea said, not taking any notice as he stood up and walked into his cage, which was built into the kitchen counter, situated between two cupboards. 'He's gorgeous' Evie said, no longer paying attention to Rhea's house 'can I stroke him', she asked, hesitating as Rhea nodded. 'Shadow out' Rhea said so Evie could get a better chance at touching him than practically climbing in the cage. 'Sit' she commanded, him doing as told, as motioning Evie to stroke him, her hesitating.
'You act like you have never had a dog' Rhea laughed at her hesitation, 'I haven't' Evie justified. 'Well it's just like a cat or rabbit just bigger' she said. 'Never had any animals' Evie clarified. 'Oh, well then just run your hand down his back or on his head' she explained, Shadow not responding to her. She decided to leave him alone and focus back on her house. 'You own this house' she said amazed. 'Yep' Rhea answered getting two bottles of water out of the drink fridge under the counter. 'But it's massive' Evie admitted. 'I like my space' Rhea defended.
'Does it not get lonely here all alone' Evie asked, 'No it stays nice and clean and perfect, no one messes anything up' Rhea explained. Evie only just taking notice of the perfectly lined up pasta jars, spice racks and protein powder shelves, all put into perfect little glass jars with matte black lids. 'Gotta admit, your house is close to perfect' Evie chuckled. Rhea standing up, 'Would you like a tour' Rhea offered, 'Only if you actually want to and aren't just saying it to shut me up' Rhea walked away from the kitchen 'Cage' she said, stopping shadow from following her and returning to his area. 'Here's the living room', she said walking through a large archway, the floor continuing marble, but the couch black, with velvet blankets thrown on it, and a smaller black arm chair in the corner, with Shadow embroidered into the centre of it. The room was finished with a glass coffee table. She followed the living room back into the kitchen, continuing into the dining room where a large black glass table with 10 throne like matte black chairs were all pushed neatly against it.
Back onto the main parlour of the house there was a toilet coming off on the right, with black walls and a white sink and toilet. Next to the toilet was a laundry room with what looked like a dog bath, it made Evie smile, Rhea clearly thought of her dog throughout the process of making her home 'Bet that's a handful' she laughed, 'He's quite good actually, been training him since he was a puppy' Rhea answered impressing Evie. Opposite the toilet was a gym, with floor to ceiling mirrors various machines and black rubber flooring.
Rhea led them up the stairs, Evie feeling as through she was protruding onto her personal life, but figuring Rhea was happy enough to show her. She showed her the bathroom first, Evie slightly shocked at the matte black sink and toilet, not knowing it was possible to have them. 'Your sink's nice' she said feeling slightly weird about it. 'Thanks, I didnt want to have white walls floor and sink and toilet so I'm glad i was able to find someone who could make them' Rhea said proudly.
Next she went on to show her one of the spare rooms, which she had turned into a closet, Rhea could tell this impressed Evie even though neither of them were fashion people. 'Mostly just store shoes in them' Rhea said opening one of the cupboard doors to reveal a variety of trainers. 'You've got quite a collection' Evie laughed, following Rhea as she wandered off to the next room. She opened it and Evie's jaw dropped, it was the size of a regular apartment, the marble floors seemed to be never ending, instead of a wall with windows, Evie was met with floor to ceiling windows. Rhea opened another door leading to a closet, and next to it the bathroom. A matte black freestanding tub in the centre of the room with black faucet and taps, another black sink and toilet and big square shower head attached to the ceiling, a drain in the floor underneath it and no shower tray or tub. 'This is the room you didn't pick' Evie turned to Rhea confused, she walked away leading her to her room, all her furniture was black. Her room twice the size of the one next-door, her bed against the wall of windows, and a little coffee table, mini fridge, counter and some chairs on the wall left of her further down that wall was a black vanity with a white velvet chair and opposite the vanity was two black couches and a television mounted onto the wall that could be watched from the bed, same going for the large closet and bathroom attached, Evie looked at Rheas bathroom, instead of having a normal shower you stepped down into it, looking at the jets coming from every angle and the shower head that must have been as big as a tv. She still had a black freestanding tub and sink and toilet next to each other.
Rhea led Evie back downstairs, finished with the tour, she poured some food into a bowl for Shadow, leaving it by the garage door. They both left the house 'Eat' Rhea said, hearing tippy taps as Shadow walked to his bowl. The ride was silent, Evie getting the courage to speak up once they were in the car on the way back to work 'Why do you need four bathrooms to yourself' she was ignored.
