“Alright girls there is one minute left in the game and we're all tied up.” Coach told us. We have played our hearts out and we are all exhausted. “I know you're tired but I know you can do this. Ashlyn and Isabella, you all are the best pair on the team. Get that ball. Once you do, just go for it. Understand.” We both looked at each other and nodded. “Alright lets do this ladies.!” I yelled. “Now we have had one hell of a season. Now let's make that team remember us by ending with a bang.!” We all cheered and the whistle blew. We walked out on the field and Coach was yelling at us to remember the plan. The ref blew his whistle again so the last minute of the game would begin. I stole the ball from a very tall, stocky red-head. She glared at me and tried to take it back, but I was too quick and I passed it to Ashlyn. She dribbled it through three people and drew her foot back. She was an inch from the ball and short brunette stole it last second. As soon as I noticed I was off, I caught up with her and stole it back. She looked surprised that the ball was no longer by her feet. I dribbled it back down the field and passed to Ashlyn again, who didn't waste any time. She kicked it and it flew right passed the goalie's head into the goal. The crowd erupted in applause and I ran over to her. “You did it.! You scored the winning goal.!” I exclaimed hugging her. “We did it. Without you they would have scored the last goal.” I smiled and the rest of the team came over screaming “Ashyln.! Ashlyn.!” And I joined in as they put her on their shoulders. We all ran into the locker room hooting and hollering.! When we got there, people were standing outside the door. I couldn't see who they were because of the people in my way. “Ashyn.!” A deep voice yelled and the girls put her down. Once everyone was in the locker room. I saw who the people were. It was Ashlyn's boyfriend Harry, my best friend Liam, and another person who was hidden by shadows of the dim hallway. “Good job babe.!” Harry told Ashlyn. “Thanks but I didn't do it alone ya know.?” Harry chuckled. “Good job Isabella, the way you played today is sure to get you a scholarship.” I smiled at the thought. “Thank you Harry.” He nodded and when back to hugging Ashlyn. And before I knew it I was engulfed in a hug. I look up to see Liam hugging me. “Congrats on the win. You guys played your hearts out.” I hugged him back. “Thank you.” We let go and the person that had been hidden before showed their face. I gasped as Niall appeared in front of me. “Uh-good game Izzy.” I flinched at the name. He hadn't called me that since before we broke up. “Thanks.” I replied awkwardly. He nodded and his phone started ringing. “I have to take this.” He mumble so quiet I almost didn't hear him. He left and I grabbed Liam. “What the hell is he doing here.?” He shrugged. “Harry and I told him we were coming to your game and he said he wanted to come.” “Why.?” He shrugged again. “Ask him..” But I didn't want to ask him because once I did, I wouldn't stop at just one question. I have so many questions for him that I would just breakdown before I could ask them all. As Niall walked back over from his phone call, Mesha came out. “Hey Coach wants you guys in the locker room.” We nodded. “Wait here.?” Ashlyn asked Harry. “Of course love.” He replied followed by a quick peck on the cheek. They are so cute. I remember when Niall and I used to be like that. Always around each other, always hugging and kissing like that.

I kicked the ball at the goal once again hoping not to miss. I looked around the empty dark field only lite by the moonlight. I knew it was late but I had to practice. It makes it into the goal and I jump up screaming “Yes.!” I start doing a little happy dance when I hear someone laugh behind me. I instantly turn around. “Who's there.?” I ask the darkness. “Calm down babe. It's just me.” I relax, knowing who the voice belonged to. I meet him in the middle of the field. “Niall James Horan, don't you ever scare me like that again.!” He smirked and pulls me into a hug. “Well don't be out here at 10 o'clock at night all alone.” He stated. “What are you doing out here anyway.?” I blushed. “Well, two reasons. One: I need to practice for tryouts. Two: I want to be able to beat you.” I spoke the last part so quiet it came out as a whisper. He let me go and pulled my hair behind my ear. “How about next time I let you win.?” He joked. I stomped my foot. “But it's not the same.” He laughed at me acting like a five year old. But before he could respond I took off sprinting down the field. “Hey.!” He screamed after me but I kept running. Once he caught up with me, he wrapped his arms around my waist. “You're going to have to be faster then at if you want to get away from me.” I smile. “Who said I wanted to get away from you.?” He spun me around and placed a gentle kiss on my lips.

                                                                     ~ ~ End Flashback ~ ~

I looked around and everyone was staring at me looking worried. “What.?” I asked. “Are you okay.? Why are you crying.?” Ashlyn was the first to speak. I hadn't realized I was crying. “Oh yeah. I'm fine it's just dusty in here.” I wiped the tears away and she gave me the 'We are talking about this later look'. I looked a Niall and he was looking at me almost considered but, he shook it off. “Hey, I'm heading home.” He told Liam and Harry but he was still looking a me. He held my gaze until I looked away. He said bye and walked off with a confused expression on his face. “Umm, Ashlyn we should go in the locker room. We'll be right back boys.” They nod and we turn to walk in the cold smelly room. Gosh, why can't these feelings and flashbacks just leave me alone.
