Once there were two best friends, Kyle and Stan. They had known each other since they were kids and had always been there for each other. Kyle had a secret, though. He had been in love with Stan for years.
Kyle had never told Stan how he felt because he didn't want to risk losing their friendship. He watched from afar as Stan fell in love with Wendy, a girl in their class. Stan and Wendy were inseparable and Kyle could see how happy they made each other.
It was hard for Kyle to watch Stan with Wendy, but he tried to be happy for his friend. He buried his feelings deep down and tried to move on. He dated other people, but no one ever compared to Stan.
Years went by and Stan and Wendy got married. Kyle was the best man at their wedding and he gave a heartfelt speech about how much he loved and admired his friend. He knew that he could never have Stan, but he was grateful for their friendship.
In the end, Kyle realized that even though his heart had been broken, he was still lucky to have Stan in his life. He knew that their friendship would last a lifetime and that was worth more than anything else.
