Calm before the storm (M!READER X DEMON SLAYER)

~At the mansion~

i reached the mansion in the dead of night, somewhere between midnight and dawn, little fireflies glowed around me, looking like shooting stars as i sped past them.

i saw the one and only Kaminari Hashira- Jigoro Kuwajima at the doorway and skidded to a stop and immediately shifted into a bow "GOOD MORNING SIR! I APPOLOGIZE FOR NOT SENDING A LETTER IN ADVANCE!" i said, trying my best to not sound exhausted and holding back labored breaths. i kept my shoulders from shaking and held my bow until further instructions.

He stayed silent for a bit and i could feel his gaze running me over, "get up, you're clearly exhausted." he said and i exhaled heavily, letting go of the breath i didnt know i had been holding. i straightened my posture and thanked him. 

"so, do you want to train, meet your brother or sleep?" he asked, clearly testing me. "I should train and moreover with that excuse i might get to meet Zentisu." i said, following the former pillar to a room with three futons on the ground.

"Leave your stuff here, freshen up and meet me near the cliff." said Jigoro-san, pointing out of the window at a cliff with a tree at the edge with a blonde boy who was hiding in its branches.

"Uh, if you dont mind me asking, who is he?" i asked referring to the blond. "THAT is Zenitsu, your brother and my adopted grandson. Please reach there soon, I need a good successor and to be perfectly honest, someone needs to boost Zenitsu's morale and im hoping tis' you" Jigoro san joked and i let out a nervous laugh and set down the white cloth bag.

"Of course sir. i'll be right there." i said, bowed and left to get changed.

Jigoro-san left the room and i quickly changed into a haori, wearing it traditionally, like a montsuki is worn, and took out my sword and set it at my hip. i fixed my hair and tied it, keeping my hair out of my face.

i left the mansion and saw Zenitsu, a mean looking black haired guy and obviously Jigoro-san.

"Jigoro-san!" I called and ran up to them and bowed. "Ah, Fujin, come meet Kaigaku, my most experienced student and i already told you about Zenitsu." he said with a hand on my back, motioning to the two boys respectively.

"Zenitsu, this is the brother i was talking about, now go join them we should start training, there will be plenty of time to bond later" added Jigoro-san when Zenitsu's eyes lit up and he literally pounced on me. I wasn't complaining though, i hugged him back and lost balance as kaigaku slapped the back of my head. we both fell over and ended up being covered in dirt and laughing hysterically. Jigoro-san chuckled quietly and motioned for us to follow him.
