Chapter 1

                         It was a sunny day as you were driving down the road, you were excited that you finally got to move away from your family and start living your own life. You then turn the steering wheel around the curb and are met with a convenient store, a post office follow by a few homes. you then drove your house that is inbetween the farm and the post office. As you got to your home, you see it's a lot more different than the neighboring houses, instead of the bright reds,blues,and yellows, your house has more of a earth tone color palette. The roof of your house is brown while the rest of your house was orange. When you got out of your car and start unpacking your things, someone tap you on your shoulder. You turn around to meet a man that is a little shorter than you, has blue hair, and has an off-putting happy face.

Y/N: Oh hey, im Y/N, im the new neighbor nice to meet you Mr....

???: Wally, Wally Darling my dear. 

You both shake hands and before you can speak, Wally then said..

Wally: So I see that you really like to workout.

Wally then pointed to the box of weights and dumbbells that are in a box.

Y/N: Well, it's good to work out the body in order to stay health but, it's also a good time killer!

You then chuckled and so did Wally.

Wally: So where are you from?

Y/N: Well, Im from a nearby town called.....huh I swear I remembered the name...

Wally: Well that's fine, we all forget sometimes! So do you want any help with unpacking your things?

Y/N: Sure! just don't get the weights and the dumbbells, I don't want you to break your back or anything.

You and Wally went back and forth unpacking your stuff, when both of your guys are finish, you decided to fetch some water for you and Wally. You went into the kitchen, got two cups and turn around to open the refrigerator and grab the pitcher. As your got the pitcher and pour the water in the two cups, you saw from outside your window, Wally chatting to a girl with blond hair and a reddish-pinkish dress. You then approach Wally with the cup of water and handed to him. 

Wally: Oh hey Y/N, this here is Julie, I been talking about you to her and how much you guys would get along as friends since she's also an active person.

Before you can speak, Julie hugged you almost causing you to spill water on yourself.

Y/N: Nice to meet you Y/N!

Y/N: Oh, nice to meet you as well Julie!

Julie then pulls back and you looked at her face, you found her face to be adorable to look at, you wanted to pinch her cheek but you resist the urge to. 

Julie: So Y/N, are you done unpacking, because if you are, me and Wally could show you around the neighborhood!

You drank the cup of water and set it down on a nearby empty box.

Y/N: Of coarse! I would love to see the whole neighborhood.

You, Wally and Julie walked around the neighborhood, you found out that the person that lived in the farm is poppy, and the person that is in the post office is named Eddie. You all went to Sally's place, you notice that she's very rambunctious and likes stage plays. After you guys left Sally's place, You met Julie's best friend named Frank at his front yard observing butterflies. At first he came of to you as a bit standoffish but Julie said that Frank is a type of person who will slowly warmed up to you. You were tempted to hold Julies hand but resist the urge to do so. You all then met Howdy at the corner store and he gave you a free candy bar of your choice. When you all left the corner store, Wally led both of you guys to his best friend's place. When the door opened, you are met with a big blue dog with a smoking pipe in his mouth.

Wally: His name is Barnaby, my best pal!

Barnaby: You dang right pal!

Barnaby rubbed Wally's head which messed up his hair. Wally then gave Barnaby a irritated look, both you and Julie giggled.

Barnaby: Oops...sorry buddy..

Wally then fixed his hair. You all then chatted, when you look up at the sky, you notice that it was getting dark, you told Julie, Wally, and Barnaby that you are heading back home. All three of them then told you goodnight and parted their ways. As you were walking home, you thought about Julie and how adorable she looks, as you walked in the front door and closed it, you can help but to smile. As you turned off all the lights and went to bed, all you though about was Julie and how it was tempting to not only resist the urge to pinch her cheek, but to hold her hand when your were given a tour of the neighborhood, you then closed your eyes and went to sleep.
