"Kojiro Nanjo, you're a creep!" A girl cried out, choking on her laughter.
The tall slim boy nodded. "I've been called worse!" He winked. The girls around the first girl giggled cuddling closer to their friend.
Kojiro walked up to the table. He carried an armful of fliers. Setting them down, he leaned forward. His opened shirt split to reveal a well toned, slightly tanned chest. He had started working out recently, nothing to outrageous, but enough to maintain a good looking physique at his summer job.
"You ladies going to vote for me to be your new class president?" he asked. They giggled as each one accepted a flyer as well as a button with the boy's handsome face on it.
"Sure why not. Who are you running against, again?" one asked.
Kojiro kept his smile in place. It was a bit of a fight to do so. They all knew who his opponent was. She was a mousy looking girl who was always buried in a book. Not many people knew her, but she was highly intelligent. In fact, if he wasn't running against her, Kojiro would vote for her.
The only reason he was running for class president was because of his dad. His father had been class president when he was in school. Kojiro hadn't even thought about it, in all honesty, he just wanted to get through high school. Maybe take his uncle up on apprenticing at his restaurant in Italy, before going off to college. Yet, his father made a bet with him. If Kojiro could become class president, then he would back off on trying to force him into becoming a doctor. The Nanjo family never had a doctor in it yet.
Kojiro couldn't refuse this. He felt like his parents had been pressuring him to be a doctor for as long as he could remember. Kojiro loved to cook. He was adventurous in his style of culinary delights. So, with the fact that he may be able to one day follow his own dream, he had set out to become class president. It wasn't an option for him to win or not, he had to win, his future depended on it.
He heard the wheels of the skateboarders on the pavement. He turned just in time to see the flash of pink hair as it whiped around the corner at the far end of the school. He smirked. Kaoru! He was sure that fiery mouthed vixen had friends that would vote for someone like Kojiro.
"Ladies, as always it was a pleasure seeing your lovely faces. But I must go ensure others to vote for me as well!" He took the hand of the girl closest to him. Raising it to his lips, he pressed a kiss to her knuckles.
"Ado, fair maiden." He bowed over it. Scooping up his flyers while picking the box of buttons up, Kojiro hurried away.
He came around the corner to the back parking lot. The weather had been nice as of late. He saw the boy with the pink hair. He was above the steps, his board hanging over them. What was he going to do? Kojiro rushed forward, he didn't make it. Before he could do anything, the boy launched himself down the steps. He spun around at the bottom with the tip of his board up. Flipping it around under his feet, he did some tricks before allowing it to settle down on its wheels. The people around him cheered.
"Wow, that was pretty impressive. I didn't know you could go down stairs like that!" Kojiro announced his presence.
A cat like boy snickered as he swung his board around. He completed a series of tricks before sliding up next to the pink haired boy.
"What do you want, twig?" Kaoru, the pink haired teen growled.
"I am running for class president." Kojiro stated.
"Like we care!" the cat boy hissed. Kojiro was not going to be deterred.
"I would like your vote, what would it take?" He asked.
Kaoru arched his perfect eyebrow. "Why?" he asked.
"Everyone should have a say in what happens in their school. I want to be someone who listens to the masses." Kojiro offered. The cat boy snickered again whispering to the pink haired teen.
