Kim Namjoon finds it cute.

Usually, it was near impossible to wake up the youngest athlete for practices in the morning, but with Park Chaeyoung by his side, he was waiting in the lobby right on time. As usual, the team got a light breakfast to-go, a few pastries and croissants just to sustain their training before they have their real breakfast and he finds it cute to see him sharing it with his girlfriend as they sit on the bus side by side.

Usually, Jeon Jungkook would fall straight to sleep till they reach the training grounds.

It gets a little too much for him when Jeon Jungkook helps her down the bus, hands interlocking with one another as they walk into the stadium.

Park Jimin is the first to comment on it, "... we get it you're a cute couple but you're giving me indigestion."

Jeon Jungkook turns to glare at the older man, "... stop being jealous."

Well, he wasn't the only one.

Kim Namjoon notices the way Park Chaeyoung blushes hard, before slowly letting go of her grip. Only, Jeon Jungkook tightens it.

The pair exchange a smile that would be enough to melt anyone as they continue to walk to the stadium. Before they begin, he quickly instructs her to sit by the side and takes off his hoodie and hands it to her in case she got cold.

She simply smiles as she puts it on.

"You look cute," he compliments before leaning down and kissing her on the forehead, "... make sure to watch me train, okay?"

She nods, "... do your best."

"Of course, there's a pretty girl watching me," he quips before winking and rushing to the rest of the team.

Jeon Jungkook was not kidding.

For the first time in a long time, he was leading the training drills. The sprints, the batting, the push-ups and everything in between. Kim Namjoon notices the way he'd turn to her after every milestone with a smile on his face and how in return, she would give him two thumbs up and cheer for him loudly.

It was the best he'd ever seen him bat, both in practice and real game. He thinks that maybe, he needs to invite Park Chaeyoung often to games and drills.

As the team captain, he thinks it'll bring them closer to a world title.

But as a friend, Kim Namjoon believes that it's good to see him smile so genuinely.

When training finishes, Kim Namjoon notices the way that Park Chaeyoung disappears. Jeon Jungkook notices too because there's a wave of panic in his expression.

"Hyung, have you seen Chaeyoung?" He questions, worried.

He shakes his head, "... maybe she's using the bathroom?"

Moments later, Park Chaeyoung returns holding a big box. Jeon Jungkook panics as he rushes to her, realising that she'd ordered lemonade for the team and was carrying the heavy box all by herself.

It was like a drama almost, watching the way he'd scolded her after taking the box and how she told her that it was fine. He carried it with ease.

"Guys, Chaeyoung brought us drinks," he brings the box and puts it down after taking two of the lemonades and handing them to her first.

The boys cheer in excitement, thanking her out loud.

"Ahh, when will I get a girlfriend as good as you Chaeyoung," Kim Taehyung comments as he takes a sip, noticing the way Jeon Jungkook was pretty much planning his death with his eyes.

"Don't get ideas," he curses under his breath.

"You're the best," Jung Hoseok exclaims in excitement, "... I'd hug you but Jungkook would kill me."

Ah, the youngest was too fun to tease.

"Damn right I would," he mutters under his breath before turning to his girlfriend, effectively ignoring his entire team, "... when did you order this?"

"I was here for work last year, and I was so obsessed with the lemonade," she explains, "... I hope you guys like it."

He looks at her, adoringly, "... my girlfriend's the best."

"Alright it's cute and all but some of us are still single," Kim Seokjin comments, "... can we head back now?"

-

Jeon Jungkook is sitting against the headboard of the bed, watching the television screen intently. It was a ritual almost, to watch previous games to identify any patterns possible. He has the volume off, however, seeing his girlfriend beside him on the laptop looking incredibly stressed.

Earlier, she was on the phone to her studio. They were doing some light renovations while the studio was on break, and apparently, they'd gotten the wrong furniture. She'd also ordered plants to help liven the room, but they still hadn't come.

Even when the studio wasn't operating, her mind was at work.

That was one of the things he loved the most.

Eventually, everything was sorted, yet she still had a small pout on her face.

He peers over his shoulder to see a message from Lalisa Manoban.

"You okay?" He turns to her, "... what's wrong?"

"Lisa's flight is delayed, she won't make it to the connecting flight," she lets out a sigh, "... so she needs to get rescheduled onto another one."

"Will she make it to the game?" He questions her, knowing that it was still another two days away.

"Yeah," she answers, "... but we were meant to go sightseeing and there are some restaurants we really wanted to try out while we're here."

"We can go together," he assures her, "... if you want."

She shakes her head, "... what if we get spotted? Besides— you're head will be in training for the next two days, I don't want to disturb you."

"It's okay, really..." he assures her, "... let's go out tomorrow after practice, for lunch and a bit of site seeing, okay? I'll let Namjoon know, he'll understand."

"Are you sure it's okay?" She asks him.

"Of course, don't worry about it love," he leans in and kisses her on the forehead, "... let's make reservations now."

"I love you," she tells him excitedly, getting up as she rummages through her suitcase, in what he expects is her planning her outfits.

He finds her very cute.

 "I love you too."
