SOMETHING BIG-the dance

Will paid for my ticket to the dance and we walked towards the gym were music was blaring. We walked in with me hugging wills arm.

The dance had just begun and it was crazy awesome. We stepped into the gym to the song something big by Shawn mendes. Many people stared at us and gaped their mouths in amazement.

"I guess we just made the grand entrance" I yelled in wills ear so he could hear me over the music. He nodded back with a smile and will started walking towards a group of girls and guys gathered around the table. Some of the guys had on other biker stuff and some had on old school cloths that fit the style. Most girls wore poodle skirts and nerd glasses that I was sure were fake. I looked to be the only biker girl witch I sorta liked.

Will introduced me to some people and I didn't really pay attention. I focused to see if I knew the songs so I wouldn't miss my faves. a dub-step heavy beat song came on the some guys did weird dancing stuff to it were they reacted to the beat. Some other smaller boys had a pathetic dance of in the corner. I tryed to get into the beat but most of the songs weren't my kinda thing. I felt like a lost awkward puppy trailing it's master except will held my hand the whole time.

We sat at a table for a while and talked about stupid stuff and will got me a dr pepper.

We had a lot of time since the dance lasted 3 and a half hours.

Finally a good song came on and I looked up and will. "do you wanna dance, cutie" he asked smiling. And I nodded smiling back. He stood and I followed with him holding my hand as we weaved through the crowd to the dance floor.

We danced a little but I was thrilled when the wobble came on. I knew the dance and squealed I was so happy. I drug will to the line of people that were gonna dance to it.

Now will looked awkward.

"Just follow the lead, I'll look stupider than you" I yelled as it started.

ALL THE SHORTY'S IN TE CLUB LET ME SEE YA DANCE-it blared and the line jumped forward and did the wobble. When I got into it I held one arm out like I was driving or something stupid like that. I loved it so much I didn't care anymore. When we got done will had a smile on his face that was huge and I had one to match it.

"I didn't know you could dance, girl!!!" He screamed inpressed and I only smiled more. About 3 songs later 'say something' came on and all the couples paired up and there were a few groups of shy boys asking girls to dance and some other girls that swayed in groups cause the didn't have guys. Will put his arms on my waist and I put mine on his shoulders. He pulled me closer to him and we rested our foreheads together. I saw a flash in the corner of my eye and jack stood there taking a picture of us. "Jack you jerk" I said angered.

"It's cute, I took it so you could have it" he said handing me the phone to look at it. The picture truly was amazing.

"Send it to me and only me later, no go away" I said and he walked of smiling deviously.

"D*mn him he messed up our moment" will said when I returned to our position. "I know but the picture is great" I said back.

"Yeah but he shouldn't have just took it he should have asked" will said back.

"I know, I'll fuss at him later, now let's forget about that douch" I said and put our foreheads back together. The dj put on another slow song so we didn't move when the last song faded out. In some way we started kissing and I heard wolf whistles and ohs and ahs but we didn't stop. When we pulled back our lips were still right up against one another's. I heard a few more whistles and clapping and will flicked them off.

We only broke away when the song faded. We went to sit back down now and when we did I sat with my head on wills shoulder and him holding my hand.
